You know how to attract the weather!!! 🙂 I sailed out of Fambridge at midnight across the Estuary following the flashing bouys. That was fun. Fishermans gat? Or something like that. I need to work on our dog training he would rather hold on for hours.

Haha, it is finely tuned so that if I’m flat footed, it shouldn’t hit my noggin 😂 a fail safe system, of course… never been hit with it ever… 😆

Hi there you two, think we had the one and only day of summer to ourselves.
It was just a perfect afternoon chatting at Shotley.

It was certainly lovely! Must confess that the weather in France so far has been very nice too!
It’s a great question… Shakey Shakey has to be in the top 5, we need to do a final countdown!
Goodness me that was a moist sail for you!!! The fish you cooked looked yummy Rob..we did ours Portuguese style baked in the oven with garlic tomatoes peppers and chilli had them with a bag of ready made puy lentils with balsamic.. they were fantastic you can't beat a bit of fresh fish. M&P are under strict instructions to get some more if available when there next at the marina. Your fish and chips looked good as well. Enjoy the sunshine that we aren't getting!!! 😭
I do like vinegar with lentils! I’ve been pimping up tins of French puy lentils with onion, garlic, salami, spinach, carrot, celery, white wine and vinegar. Delicious!!
That free cod was beautiful, your recipe sounds looooovely! Hope you’re both well. If it’s any consolation, it’s currently blowing an absolute hooley here 😂

Does the dog have a life jacket?
Yes, she does! She wears it when we’re using the dinghy to get too and from shore. It’s too bulky for her when we’re under passage, so we prefer to keep her clipped on to the boat instead. That way she’s safe AND comfortable!
Miserable sailing weather better come south to new Zealand or Aussie😅
