You know what'd be real cool for a final level in a German campaign? You play as a German soldier, being one of the final soldiers defending the Reichstag. The Russians storm the building and you have to delay the inevitable for as long as you can, retreating further into the Reichstag and eventually up the roof. There was an artillery strike and you barely survive by dropping down on to another part of the roof. Realizing you're the only one left, you are determined to fight to your last breath. You grip your sidearm, and shot at the first Russian you saw. Turns out you were the guy who shot Dimitri Petrenko, and would meet a gruesome end at the hands of Reznov.

B) Surrender C) Desert Hideo Kamasaki: 31 year old sergeant by 1941, he has served in China and has gotten experience. Even though he is still completely devoted to Japan and the emperor, he has begun to question their morality. He too would have multiple endings (but only two endings instead of three.) A)Final Banzai charge B)Surrender There would be other small choices throughout the game that would affect these endings too, like during the German campaign you might witness Soviet prisoners being treated like dogs, and you might be able to not treat the man like a sog, and you might end up seeing this Soviet Soldier again... I thought about two expansions, one would include an extra Italian campaign (It was like this as to focus on Germany and Japan for the main game, Italy didn’t do a whole lot anyway) and the other expansion would be an alternate history expansion.
@@Fulllife3.2 Possible Endings Karl chooses to stay and fight in Berlin: 1. He dies in battle. I do kind of like the idea of him defending the Swastika flag on the reichstag, not that I think the scene should be a direct copy of the WaW version. I think he would get shot mortally and fall to the ground, a small platoon of Russians makes there way to the flag, but Karl, still barely clinging to life, pulls out his Walther P-38 and starts picking them off. His life would start “flashing before his eyes”, maybe he hears some final words of comfort from his father. Maybe this the moment when he finally realizes the wisdom of his father’s words that war is pointless, but he’s a soldier, he must do his duty to the very end. After finishing off several Russians, he runs out of ammo and fumbles with the clip, but is shot before he can reload. Death screen if Karl took all the “humane” options: “You have died in defense to the fatherland! History will judge you and your fellow Wehrmacht soldiers harshly, but the Soviet soldiers who fought you will never forget your unfailing bravery, you have earned their respect” 2. Karl flees and surrenders to the Allies: he survives the war and is granted immunity, he tries to send for his parents, but they were killed by the Nazis when they realized he escaped his duty. Devastated, he becomes ardently anti-war, and passes down the hard lessons of the conflict to his own children in the future. Ending message: “You were one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately, your parents were amongst the final victims of the Nazi regime and were killed before you could send for them, yet they died with pride in their son for following his heart, and that was enough to give them peace . Now you will carry their wisdom and the scars of war for the rest your days, a living example of the terrible price of war.” 3a. Karl surrenders to the Russians, and acted inhumanely: Whether it’s good or bad ending, this choice will trigger before you enter the Reichstag to make your last stand. You will spot a Russian soldier that you remember from a prison camp, and will have to option to try to surrender to him. If you were just as evil as your fellow soldiers, the Russians will remember what you did to their comrades years ago, and they will show no mercy now. Ending message: “You were killed while trying to surrender! It seems your brutal actions caught up with you in the end. You will be remembered only as a nameless gray face in the cruel Nazi war machine. Only those closest to you will try to keep fonder memories of you alive.” 3b. Karl surrenders to the Russians and has acted humanely: If you stood up for the Russian prisoners before, when you try to surrender to them, the man you remember will vouch for you, and the red army will accept your surrender. Once the war is over, you are eventually reunited with your parents Ending message: “The Russian soldier remembered your act of kindness and has repaid it. Many of your fellow soldiers are not so lucky. You will see out the final days of the war in captivity before being reunited with your family. It is a small price to pay compared to your friends who have fallen along the way. You are determined to honor their sacrifice for the rest of your life.” Japanese endings: 1. Hideo joins the final banzai charge on Okinawa. If by some miracle you are not killed by the American machine guns, you will get close enough to stab one soldier before the rest of them turn their fury on you, killing you instantly Death message: “You proved yourself a loyal soldier for the emperor! Sadly, your selfless sacrifice was in vain, for the battle of Okinawa was lost, and tens of thousands more lost their lives in the Atomic Bomb strikes of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before the emperor gave up the fight. You and your fellow soldiers will be remembered for decades with shudders by American veterans for your fierce, animal-like tenacity” 2. Hideo surrenders to the American forces: If you tortured prisoners, they will shoot you before you get a chance to surrender. Otherwise, you will be holed up in a shelled out bunker, clutching your arisaka rifle, prepared to fight to the death. Suddenly you hear the sound of someone entering, and the sound of a Japanese voice. It turns out to be an American medic fluent in Japanese, he is trying to convince anyone inside to surrender before the flamethrowers light it up. Hideo shakily rises to his feet and finally decides he’s had enough, he staggers out of the bunker and surrenders peacefully. Ending message: “You have fought honorably, but even the bravest and strongest willed warriors must know when the fight is hopelessly lost. For you, that fight is now over. You will be one of the few to avoid the tragic fate of the majority of the Japanese soldiers and civilians on the island.” Epilogue: Hideo stands at the Hiroshima Atomic bomb memorial over 60 years later, now an old man. An elderly American man walks next to him and they look at each other briefly and remember each other from Okinawa - it’s the same medic who called out to him before the flamethrower could burn him alive - before returning their gazes to the memorial, sharing a silent moment of solidarity, united in their hope for destruction and death on such a scale to never happen again.
@A Scam Involving Corndogs, the founding fathers were enlightenment liberals. The fact is that people want an authoritarian government, especially when existential threats present themselves. Corona Virus is an example of this. Governments have taken authoritarian measures to save lives by putting people on lockdown.
I think a German campaign would be really interesting. Think about it. You are a soldier on the front. It’s 1939. You are invading Poland. The poles put up a surprisingly good fight but they succumb to the inevitable over the next few weeks of fighting. Propaganda says it was a cakewalk (it wasn’t), but you just smile and roll your eyes. At this rate, the war will be over by Christmas. Surely, the French and British will back down now that they’ve seen the might of the German army. Fast forward to 1940. The French and British have not backed down. It looks like things are ramping up for an invasion of France. There have been other areas of fighting, but everyone knows that direct war with France will decide the war. You and your comrades feel like they have a stone in their stomach, thinking of how your fathers came back from the Western Front in the Great War. The invasion begins, and everything goes better than expected, all things considered. France is crushed in a matter of weeks! You and your friends have done the impossible, and succeeded where the Second Reich failed as you march triumphantly into Paris. You do get a troubling letter from your family, saying that the neighbor family was taken in the night. They must be mistaken though, right? In a couple months, you are sent South East to Greece. You are surprised, and disappointed. You and your comrades voice your concerns, that you should be invading Britain while they’re on their back foot. Stories trickle down that the RAF has been bloodying the Luftwaffe, but certainly it’s not as bad as they say? But, who are you to question the Fuhrer’s judgement? He’s steered Germany towards victory after victory so far. One thing does concern you. Recently the narrative has shifted. Before poland, the Soviets were vilified as the enemy of humanity, their ideology a poison. Then overnight the stories had changed, that they are a great friend to the Reich. Now, the narrative has shifted back to its original stance, perhaps with even more zeal. Though you would never say it out loud, you don’t like where this is going. A two front war doomed your father’s war, after all. And thus begins the Barbarossa campaign, confirming your fears. Things are going well though. Perhaps you were wrong? Perhaps the Fuhrer is right, that it is just a paper tiger! But more and more as the battles drag on, the fight gets harder and harder. You hear stories of atrocities being done on scales unimaginable. Of course there will be a few bad apples who do terrible things, but these stories have to have been exaggerated. Everything from this point on gets darker and darker. You witness the evidence of mass killings. The SS troops claim that the Soviet soldiers were attacking them, but you don’t see any weapons among them. Things just get worse and worse as the war goes on as your character sees the horror behind the curtains, while simultaneously the war turns against you and your fortunes dry up like water in a desert. The campaign should either end with your German soldier fighting alongside American soldiers at the battle of Castle Itter or in Operation Cowboy, or you are a part of the effort to hold the corridor open to the Elbe for refugees. At the very end, you are in a interrogation room with an American and a Russian, questioning you on the atrocities you bore witness to. You are left with an empty feeling, but your final acts in the war, and your testimony to the horrific acts you saw being directly ordered gives you a sense of purpose. This wasn’t all for nothing.
We need a Battlefield 1 mod that solely focuses on the story of a group of German Stormtroopers during WW1. They were the first special forces ever to effectively implement modern warfare tactics; I really don't understand why game developers have never made anything remarkable about these fierce men.
@Mega Bruh It's not just BF4. In pretty much every shooter campaign I've ever played, all friendly AI feels like nothing more than props that's only there to die or to sit back and let the player do all the work.
Really? I didn’t get that vibe at all playing COD2, I felt like the older CODs really made you feel small, like you were just an expendable grunt on the frontlines, not particularly important, whereas modern shooters just make you feel like some kind of god going Rambo on everyone
In Stalingrad you can hear Scout and Medic scream underneath the hailstorm of bullets. Around 1:15:38 you can faintly hear both, Scout's scream coming first and Medic's being the next Soviet soldier after.
Holy crap..... That was amazing. It was shocking that the whole campaign of all of this was just a 'What if' scenario when the "Except that didn't happen." showed up. (Which actually is btw, lel) This is like a Cod x Battlefield game with the former having the Gameplay while the Latter has the Narrations and the ending. You had cheographed all of this so well, my guy. We all learn the true horros of war and the aftermath of the decisions the leaders had made. Especially the epilogue part. That part was pretty emotional and explained Britain's decision. Take notes Activision and EA (Fuck you to hell, EA). This is how you make a good ww2 game. Unlike Cod: Ww2 and Battlefield V (Although the Last tiger also captured something what 'War' is.)
i agree with all of you guys just like i said either devs make ww2 german full campaign games with ability to be able to use vehicles too or they need to stop making anymore games like who plays super mario, and all cod parts when there are not fkin german campaigns tho
Dumpyten the Austrians voted to be Aunchlused, Churchill was completely against peace and even had Rudolf Hess captured when he went to Britain to negotiate peace.
@@daeshawnjohn4272 Germany rigged the vote on Anschluss. It was the same as the capture of the Crimea. Before that, Germany, for money, promoted Nazis loyal to Germany to the Austrian government, conducted active propaganda on the territory of Austria, due to which Germany had a certain number of people who were greeted with open arms, but there were only 250,000. And the vote was held under threat of invasion of the 8th army. If Britain and France had not entered into a non-aggression pact with Germany, Germany would not have steamed on Austria or Czechoslovakia with Poland, nor on Poland itself.
Agreed, its sad how everyone feels whoever’s on the opposite side of a US barrel is evil. I’m an American with great love for my country. But even I can admit the poor young men on the ground, on the sea, or in the air aren’t fighting for the exact same thing the old generals sitting around a table back home are.
The narration and music mixing of BF1 and BFV soundtrack was perfect. I loved the very 1st second of the video, it instantly brought me back to BFV. The story and alternate history was relatively realistic, and the ending was emotional and described Britain political and war plan quite well. I do wish the invasion of England was more like a D-Day experience instead of the character just randomly waking up in the beach.
A German invasion of England would have not been like D-Day as the Germans did not have the naval capacity of Britain so the relatively small scope of the invasion makes sense.
Very well made. At some Points it did ruin the immersion when you had WaW missions with just reversal of the skins on the Soldiers but still the same dialogue from the Sovjets, overall it was a nice enjoable video which did entertain me. I was expecting some more events to happen, like the Japaneese attack on Pearl Harbor to make USA enter the war. That would have had huge implications even with the Sovjet Union falling. Defending D-Day might have been a fun scenario or pushing the Allies out from France and Italy. Such mission could have made it even more greater. The part at the end is something that facinates me alot, because it shows that there is so much more to the beginnings of the war that one can Think. It shows that putting post-thinking of the war into the minds of people who were just a few months or weeks from the war starting is a slippery slope. It wasn't so simple many times.

Dude the Vendetta Mission is awesome, just look at the names of the guns when the german gets it, it's not the normal one, it's the name the Germans gave them
The first mission is a copy-paste of one of the missions from the Spanish Civil War mod; the mission was based on an assault to the "Ciudad Universitaria", basically, the university campus of Madrid.
Interesting campaign. My mother's side to my family is part German, and we're a wolves crest since my great grandmother who lived through every war of the 20th century including World War 2. So it's interesting this COD has a German campaign that was probably how my ancestors fought one of the dark chapters in my family's history.
Movies and games portray it wrong. So you basically drop like a sack of potatoes cause you lose blood pressure fast. Unless u can stop the bleeding even faster.
@@honestjohnshallburnyou AHahaha. Yeah those guys oversell it so bad that when they actually break their spines, u cant tell if its serious or not unless they just lay there. Wish it wasnt so fake all the time.
The sadness of it all is that for all this bloodshed and death and mayhem and murder and devastation. We waged several wars after '45. Some for the communist state and others for the democratic values we hold dear but the irony is never lost on me when I see people play COD or BF games. PS. We dont learn that was my point.
The thing a lot of people don't understand is that not all German soldiers during WW2 were Nazi party members, or even agree'd with the politics. They were soldiers serving there country and there commander-in-chief. I wish more games showed things from the regular german soldiers perspective during WW2, even during the blitzkrieg.
Its absolutely bonkers to me, that everyone is completely ignoring the fact that this video is from start to finish mostly putting out straight facts that would completely change how a normal average everyday person would view WW2 and thus all of subsequent human history and geopolitical occurrences that wouldn’t have happened without WW2. I’ve been aware of all of this information for years but it is all completely and intentionally ignored by school and universities and everything mainstream and no one ever hears about it and its just mind boggling that all the information is right here nice and clean and no one says anything at all.
Because for the victors it is good for them to retroactively portray events that happened during the war, into a simplistic narrative on how the war started. To absolve them of any responsibility for the war in the first place i.e. "Hitler wanted to take over the world". It's quite amazing when you read contemporary sources about the German-Polish dispute, a lot of diplomats and even British politicians supported in principle the right of Danzigers to return to German sovereignty. However the Thucydides Trap led Britain to war with Germany at a time when Germany didn't even have a plan on invading Poland, let alone war with the plutocracies.
It would be cool to see a Japanese version of this mod in the same style. Imagine capturing Sakhalin and Kuril Islands, fighting with Indian and Burmese collaborators against the British, or invading hawaii and the Aluetian islands. Lots of opportunities for fun and engaging gameplay
Cool they need to do this for the entire CoD timeline. Most of the sites that try to give chronological order have it wrong, like placing games where they appear first in the timeline. Trying to say Call of Duty World War 2 should be first in the timeline. Most of that game is toward the end of the war. There's just early foreshadowing and such.
its modded ffs, not in the most professional way, but you have to admit, that they put a lot of effort in the cod 2 missions. in cod waw, they just swapped the assets.
Helmut Kogelberger Just ask yourself. The character models were sometimes reversed but they had no extra speech patterns in this mod to fit so they kept the originals in.

You will see out the final days of the war in captivity before being reunited with your family. It is a small price to pay compared to your friends who have fallen along the way. You are determined to honor their sacrifice for the rest of your life.”
Japanese endings:
1. Hideo joins the final banzai charge on Okinawa. If by some miracle you are not killed by the American machine guns, you will get close enough to stab one soldier before the rest of them turn their fury on you, killing you instantly
Death message: “You proved yourself a loyal soldier for the emperor! Sadly, your selfless sacrifice was in vain, for the battle of Okinawa was lost, and tens of thousands more lost their lives in the Atomic Bomb strikes of Hiroshima and Nagasaki before the emperor gave up the fight. You and your fellow soldiers will be remembered for decades with shudders by American veterans for your fierce, animal-like tenacity”
You will be one of the few to avoid the tragic fate of the majority of the Japanese soldiers and civilians on the island.”
Epilogue: Hideo stands at the Hiroshima Atomic bomb memorial over 60 years later, now an old man.

That’s an awesome plot bro. They should definitely make it happen, but I doubt we’d actually get it in this day and age.

You have unlocked: the good ending
The narration and music mixing of BF1 and BFV soundtrack was perfect. I loved the very 1st second of the video, it instantly brought me back to BFV. The story and alternate history was relatively realistic, and the ending was emotional and described Britain political and war plan quite well. I do wish the invasion of England was more like a D-Day experience instead of the character just randomly waking up in the beach.
A German invasion of England would have not been like D-Day as the Germans did not have the naval capacity of Britain so the relatively small scope of the invasion makes sense.
1:51:10 That goddamn smile im laughing my ass off
Very well made.

PS. We dont learn that was my point.

the battlefield soundtrack makes me really want a triple A game with a german campaign
Danke!
