VW Golf Mk6 (K5). Episode 5. Replacing coolant pump B. P261A

  • Episode 5 of repairs on my Wife's new Golf Mk6 (K5) .
    I recently bought a Topdon OBD scanner to find out why the check engine light has come on and it diagnosed fault code P261A, a failure in the auxiliary coolant pump.
    A replacement pump was bought for £50 (not genuine VW so may not last long) and in this video I show you how I changed it.
    The engine in this car is a 2.0tdi.
    This may be the same process for the Mk 5 Golf and for many other VW group cars of the era (Skoda, seat, Audi etc) with the same 2.0tdi engine.
