Thanks for the insight Sir, Im a E5 here in 2cr as well and have been heavily thinking about G2G would love to talk irl or even if you set up an event on rose barracks to be face to face and so soliders could understand better
If your commander denied you 0:53 to retake asvab for 110 GT score what are some other ways to be able to retake asvab only thing holding me back is GT score
I recommend you and your first line leadership getting on your company Commander’s calendar to discuss your career goals. It’s hard for me to imagine your leadership denying you an opportunity to advance in your career unless it conflicts with training, or under SFPA (flagged) circumstances. Please go into this prepared, have class dates and timelines for more than one course. Essentially have a plan A and B to propose to your boss. Also, go in with a general understanding of your units training schedule to ensure you are not going to miss any key training. Best wishes to you, keep me posted.
Question for you sir, how many recommendation letters other then your company commander and batallion commander do you recommend having for your packet ?
For the Army Green to Gold Active Duty Option, only a company commander and battalion commander letter of recommendation is required. There are two parts for your CDRs recommendation on the same form. Your Company CDR writes their recommendation and signs it, then that same form is sent to your Batt CDR who writes a recommendation and signs it.
I have my BA already and am considering joining the Army as an Officer. Can I do G2G with a degree already? I would still have to do 2 years of active duty enlisted, right?
I’m 30, and re enlisting. With my waiver I can’t enlist as an officer. What’s the soonest I can submit a packet and is there an age limit on it? I’ve read a few dif things
Love this stuff brother. My XO and CO heard I want to be an Officer and are pushing me to do this now. Seems like a great option to get my masters. I don't like that the 2 years to get my Masters wouldn't count towards my retirement, but it seems worth it in the long run.

Do you know anything about enlisted promotability while in the g2g program? To clarify: E5p promoting to E6 before commissioning in program.
Is there a waiver for people who don’t have 2 years active duty service? What if you’re in the reserves?
There is a Time in Service Waiver, don’t let this stop you!

You can earn your graduate degree in the G2G Program.
You can also do OCS (Officer Candidate School), since you already have your degree.

There are age waivers for Green to Gold, check out the latest Green to Gold Information book to get the most accurate and credible information.

It means a lot if your leaders see this in you! Please keep me updated on your process and I’m here if you need something.
I thought you can not be in for more than 10 years to seek a commission.
She is so sun burnt, I feel bad lol.
