‼⚡TO BE CLEAR: You may pick your jobs and duty stations, just not guaranteed you will get your #1 choice. Unless you go Aviation, or nursing. As of now chaplaincy, Jag, or doctor is not part of the G2G (ADO) Program. ‼

    Hello, Sir
question, if you are going to college studying something that has nothing to do with your MOS and you want to go to G2G program, are they going to approve you? If so, do they change your army MOS? How does that work?

Great question, I’m biased obviously and would say yes to your question lol. But this is exactly why I wanted to start this series. The goal is to help future Officers come to that decision for themselves based on first hand stories from Officers working in various branches.

I’m currently on phase 2 with 5th BDE… why do medical waivers and age waivers take SO LONG 🤧 what’s the process a medical waiver goes through? My schools ROO can’t explain because she doesn’t know herself 😪

Casey, this is one of the most annoying parts but don’t let it steal your motivation. Medical waivers for Army Green to Gold (ADO) can take a significant amount of time to process because they require a thorough review of the individual's medical history and condition. The Army takes medical waivers very seriously, as they want to ensure that all individuals who are accepted into ADO meet the necessary medical requirements to perform their duties effectively without putting themselves or others at risk.

@@Therealc_hill it can be discouraging I won’t lie. So many people are getting their offers and I’m still in a limbo. All because I take a medication for blood pressure 🥲 that is the only waiver I need.

      @@CaseyS.89 You're in phase 2 correct?
I understand how discouraging it can feel to be in limbo and see others moving forward while you feel stuck. Keep your head up, stay positive, and continue to pursue this with determination and resilience. You've got this!
