This is really mesmerising, I'm not and artist, I just love watching artists at work.
One thing sticks out to me here though - everything looks so nice and new, while the shin protectors look old and used. Maybe spray some paint on it too? Just a thought, as I said, I'm not an artist, so my way of thinking might be wrong ^^'
I think you're right. I was hoping that sanding the shin armor would give it an even finish, but it does still look worn. Plus, it's not the same gray color. I'll see if there's a paint that will adhere to the shin plastic.
you should try getting into making art, it's really satisfying

@Daan - I tried, actually! my father is an artist and he was hoping to make me and my brother both artists as well - I got the basics, but that's about it, I'm not terrible at it, just never felt the pull to actually put my time and effort into it. Writing and photographing turned out to be my creative outlets, but that's so far away from the artistry of Punished Props that I'm just sitting, happily watching one video after another and having great fun in watching them putting everything together - so satisfying!

Fangirling is when anyone, regardless of gender, involves freaking out in a not very manly fashion, so it' still fangirling. You can be a fanboy and fan girl over something.. Either way, that's just what I say, but you an call it whatever you want.

The whole project is fantastic! The "new" blue for the tubes give a nice Comic look. Very cool.
Honestly the way you break down the steps in the creation of the armor really makes me feel I can give it a try for my own projects in a less professional and awesome way. But still I've learned so much from this process! I can't wait to try my hand at a simple cosplay prop (with lights!)
