How to adjust valve clearance on a Toyota 2E 12V motor

In this video I explain how to adjust the valve clearance (tappets) of the Toyota 2E (Corolla) engine yourself.
This month on Head2Head I perform a service job on my Corolla that I've been putting off for a long time. I've been wanting to set the valve clearance on my cars, but I am no mechanic. Needing something to film for Head2Head I decided to go for it.
Being so focused on the valve job, I neglected the filming part a bit, sorry for that! Anyhow, that is how we learn.

Air va lve on cover if rubber hard either leave it there or buy a new one as it will break . Loose rubbers holding cover on , unscrew them , this is what is stopping cover coming off.

What difference did you felt after doing this adjustment ? What was the problem

This is a routine service task. Many dealers/mechanics don't check valve clearance if there are no symptoms. On a 4 cyl engine the difference is not really noticeable, but on a single (like my Honda XR650L) it will start easier and run cooler.

Toyota 2E engines specifies a 0.20 mm valve clearance both on intake and exhaust valves with the engine in hot temp.
