- Lately I've been working on making a new set of wax pots filled with our mineral oil polish to be used in the workshop, the kitchen - anywhere really where you need to. This time I have a couple of different wood options available - cherry, maple, mahogany, cherry and greenheart!

Beautiful project and terrific video. I’ve enjoyed your waxes for many years.
A wonderful gift idea.
Thanks John!
You should try using an air cylinder as a clamp, very strong and very fast to change parts.
Really beautiful concept, Linn! Really well done! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks MC, hope you're doing well.
@@darbinorvar Everything is fine, thank you. 😊
These are very nice boxes. Maybe I'm silly but I wouldn't machine just one tiny box at a time. I would clamp down a whole board as big as my machine allowed it. Big pieces are easy to secure on the machine. I'd carve out the inner space and mill the outside, too. But I wouldn't go through the material on the outside so it stays firmly clamped. I'll seperate the boxes later with a (jig)saw and trim the rest with the router. But thats just me.
i think you should consider the size of wood you have available, then make your own decision.

너무 귀요운 나무 상자가 되었네요 안에 넣은 왁스는 어떻게 만드시는지 너무 궁금해요~~
Hallo, gute Idee (good idea) :) 👍👍👍
Thank you :)
Why not just carve 20 pots/lids at a time out of one board and then cut them apart? That way you can just screw the entire board down
