Did anyone already get Tesla job and share some experience here ? I will be very appreciated! I lived in south of California, and not sure where can they arranged working location if hired . And for Start program , Can it be online class or only go to school , because I don’t lose my job now due to family support and house loan ?

@@obieone21 yeah they didn’t lemme get into the class so currently taking uei classes, luckily my teacher is a Tesla technician with a high authority and just came back to where he begun his career so if i do good in his eyes I might get in😏
Usually they dont require its only optional
I had to pay tuition to attend program at partner college. They do pay you but college wants a fee too
Was it easy to get a job after?
@@alexusategui2264 with the Tesla start program you interview with prospective service centers all over the country. You choose your preference of 3 regions. I had a job by week 6 of the 12 week program
@@masterjdawe oh nice! Thanks for the info. I just applied to a local school here that also is asking for a fee but ut seems reasonable at $2500 all things considered. They just dont have much info on start dates and all that so Im just waiting to hear back soon hopefully. Is the job stressful?
@@alexusategui2264 it can be stressful right when you're starting. I've never worked in a shop setting before. Once you've done the tasks a few time you get better and quicker at them. The fact that there are only 4 models (as of now) to work on means you'll quickly pick up the common repairs.
Do you get paid hourly or salary? Or is it a flat rate type of pay?
What's the pay rate?
9.46 an hour once you're enrolled for the class but after you graduate you earn 22 an hour starting since you'll be a certified technician

Testla techs max out at 58$ an hour
You know we've worked hard for trade schools. Since EVs might be the future, it might go back down with 0 Trade Schools. Why? You might need a Mechanical Engineer and Computer Science degree. Want Tesla? Go to college; not trade school.
There will ALWAYS be trade schools, what makes you think they won’t change their curriculum as the industry changes?
