Her character is the girlfriend of Michael Cera's character, so that's why it's funny seeing them in this movie 😅

And envy is actually one of Scott's evil exes, and has to fight Ramona. And Roxys weakness in the movie is Envys in the book.
That would have been a really cool element to the story with Envy!

This movie is AMAZING and you GOTTA watch the anime too, it's such a fun version of the story that takes its own route and is not the same thing, so we get 2 amazing treasures here!!

Just FYI, the anime isn't a more faithful book adaptation than the movie(the movie cut a lot, especially concerning Nega-Scott). The anime is a reimagining by Bryan Lee O'Malley who's supposedly more worldly & mature now(he's quite an ***hole back in the day).
That makes me want to check it out more!!

That is so funny but I’m not surprised at all lmao
To me, that doesn't make sense that they did that for just this film. While it is funny in this specific movie other films have redone the logo musically but didn't have to have it elsewhere in the film. For instance, Pitch Perfect redid it in Acapella but the "actual" version wasn't anywhere else in the film. Unless it was just because they pixelated the logo itself as well? It just feels like a double standard on their part. Unless I'm just confused. I swear there was another film as well that did but I can't think of it off the top of my head.
I recommend checking out the original comics! They weren't all published when the movie was made so it is very different. (they were by the time the movie was released though, they actually reshot the ending to match it better). It takes place over about 1 and a half years then a week, and the characters all have a lot more development.
The animated series is great too!

This movie is actually really fun, and it was actually better than the comic its based on. Not only is having Captain Marvel, Captain America and one of the Superman actors in the same movie a delight, but the plot of this movie sounds pretty awesome. Who wouldn’t fight 7 evil exes to be with the one you love? I know I would!

Ok, had to pause at the Black Sheep performance, and as a lover of the band who actually wrote that song, I NEED TO TELL YOU that band is a real band, freaking amazing, and called Metric. You'd probably recognize some of their other music if you listen to Alt Rock on any level. I go back and forth whether I prefer Metric's version vs. Brie's. But PLEASE, give credit to the band for this song, it wasn't written for this movie. (It seems you're under that impression, that's all)

The worst movie I've ever seen...Sure, choreography, visual effects, camerawork and editing are mind-blowing, especially for the time...
But the story, characters, Scott himself....I've never seen a more annoying protagonist.
