    Using the ms50g to recreate expensive pedals live is a must (: I can’t live without it’s reverse reverb

      Indeed!! The reverse reverb on it is really good (: I love it for ambient stuff as well

    I just got one for a little board that has limited space. It has a Micro Wah, Mini Klone, Mini Muff, and Preamp. So the Zoom is handling Tuner/mute, Compressor, Phaser, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb! This is a perfect, and very versatile little travel practice rig.

    I'm so glad that I have got both ms 50g and ms 70 CDR

      @manualofalternativemusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh how lucky of you! Having both must be extremely versatile, almost like a full setup in itself hehe

      @@manualofalternativemusic defiantly I couldn't agree more, I defiantly been building up a shoegaze pedalboard since i picked up a guitar again

      That’s great to hear! How is your pedalboard going? You know, something I like a lot about the ms50g is that it models pedals that are around already. I liked the phaser based on the ehx bad stone so much I went and bought a real one (: wrote a whole song around it with the ms50g and I’ll record it now with the real deal. Sound just as good as the zoom pedal hehe

      @@manualofalternativemusic i just need to get a bigger pedalboard i think, i defiantly would love to get a pulse tremolo pedal by Ehx and added at the end of the pedalboard.

      @manualofalternativemusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a Sweet tremolo!! If I may suggest one for you that’s also a very fun tremolo is the Behringer TP 300 Ultra Tremolo Pan, it’s a cheap clone of the boss pn 2 and sounds really good! Usually found for cheap (:

    Anyone that says “that Zoom is a toy” - they’re not musicians. They’re poseurs.

    The zoom gx1on is around the same price and you can do the effects firmware update that lets you choose which effects you want from there whole catalog plus it has a expression pedal built in and I think can hold more effects than the ms series

    First Zoom ms50g was my guide to the pedalworld and my secret reverse reverb weapon, thanks to Kenneth shoegazer. It changed my playing completely. Now I keep it because I sure can't miss the reverse and the gate reverb. I love the particle reverb too. But the Bends vibrato is cool, the od1, some high gain stuff,... It has a very good slicer, autopan, autoswell(attack decay), vinyl crackles on lofi delay!, pitch delay, tube warmth on amp sims ... It is just so shoegaze that it's not normal anymore! Last I used it together with the70 cdr to make late evening sketches with the Focusrite and Ableton. Saves a lot of CPU on my shit computer (pedals consume the money). By the way, what is it with south America Shoegaze ? I like Asalto Al Parco Geologico and Trementina so much among newer shoegaze bands.

      Kenneth also opened up a lot of possibilities with this pedal for me (: it’s indeed very versatile! I really like it! Brazilian shoegaze has something special about it if I may say 😅 you can check out Lava Divers and Loomer if you’d like! Awesome bands 😎

      Thanks for the band-tips ! I also discovered (north american) Lazy Legs thanks to your channel. They throw the fuzz really straight into your face, reminds me about early Skywave a bit.@@manualofalternativemusic

    they are all capable of interchangeable effects from across the range 241 effects in all, but space limited, to change the pedals firmware changes all the associated patches, there is software easily searchable.... better off with the bass or CDR withe stereo ins for recording purposes.....catch up guys! :)

    • @manualofalternativemusic
      @manualofalternativemusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s Zoom’s ToneLib app (: it’s available at their website. Check it out you won’t regret. Just connect your pedal with a micro usb cable to your computer and power it up you should be good to go
