With so many new cars that were teased for a 2024 launch in the Philippines, automotive enthusiasts have a lot to be excited about for the new year. There are several new cars that will make their way to the Philippines soon , with some launching as early as January 2024. The Suzuki Jimny 5-door variant is coming to the Philippines, as well as the hybrid trim of the Suzuki XL7. We also have a bestseller like the all-new Hyundai Sta Fe that will launch in the first quarter of 2024. We are looking at a possible February launch. MG has also given a sneak peek at their all-electric sports car, the MG Cyberster, which is slated to launch on April 2024. Along with the MG Cyberster, we also have the MG One, which will launch along with the MG Cyberster. Then we also have newcomers from Foton like the Foton Tunland and the Foton E-Wonder. Of course, Japanese carmakers will not be left behind, with the Mitsubishi Triton launching as well as the Toyota Tamaraw pickup truck.

I remember my dad's tamaraw built way back in 1991. It was a 4-door pick up, 4k engine gasoline (which was economical during his age), aircon with pioneer car stereo and has 2 speakers located underneath the seats and a Twitter on the dashboard. It has 13" rims with "balloon" Firestone tires. It was a very reliable pick up truck and full of my happy childhood memories especially when we go to the beach for holidays, or going to my dad's farm.
Now if Toyota will bring back the tamaraw? This is my view on specs and build. It should be hybrid with a 1.3L or 1.5L gas (vios engine). A/T tiptronic transmission. A rugged look (maybe a modernized ol' tamaraw looks) maybe a 16 or 17" rim with big tires. Simply like a bigger brother of a 4doors Suzuki KEI (double door multicab) truck and should be priced less than a million. This is just my suggestion to Toyota motors.✌️🇵🇭 Tama raw.😂

FYI sir the Toyota Tamaraw is actually the predecessor of the IMV's specifically the Toyota Innova. Back in the 90's we had the 3rd gen tamaraw which is the Tamaraw FX. Famously known for being the "grandpa" of the UV Expresses. Followed by the 4th gen Tamaraw FX Revo, an SUV-styled 8-10 seater family wagon with a workhorse spirit. The Revo lasted from 1997 until 2004 when the IMV platform arrived in the PH for the 1st time. With Toyota Innova's arrival in the PH in late 2004, it then succeeded the Revo Tamaraw FX and so the name Tamaraw was then faced-out to give way for it's 5th gen successor, the Toyota Innova. Despite that, the Innova continuously possesses the same workhorse spirit as it's direct predecessors, the Tamaraw FX and the Revo. Now why do we have a "sea of Innovas" anywhere in the PH? Long story short, Innova is the successor of the Tamaraw. If all of that was vague for you before reading all of this, now you know!
Now for my personal opinion of the new Tamaraw Concept, I think they should just make it into a business vehicle. Still possessing it's very spirit of being a workhorse, they should make it just like the revived toyota liteace where it can be available in variants like a Pickup, Modern Jeepney style shuttle, Food truck, closed delivery van, panel van, mini-bus/commuter shuttle service, and the like. Basically for Negosyo purposes but with a stylish exterior and new tech features plus safety. Considering the idea that the Tamaraw was made for the masses, and with the current issue of PUV modernization, maybe the government can consider this new tamaraw concept as their ideal choice for the "Modern Jeepneys" they are wanting to implement. But nevertheless, they will still have to undergo major briefing with regards to these matters. In summary, I'm personally not against the return of the Tamaraw BUT we have to acknowledge the fact that it's successor Innova is already highly successful as the Philippines' best selling 8-seater family MPV and is also ranked the 3rd best-selling car of Toyota Motor Philippines, with the Hilux being #2, and the Vios being #1.

The 3 door jimny is made from japan like the previous gen. Its a bummer the 5 door is from india.

1. 2024 BMW i4
- a zero-emissions version of 4-Series Gran Coupe. I don't know which variant will come in, either eDrive35, eDrive40, xDrive40, or M50?
- When it launched on 19th of January, it became the 4th EV from BMW Philippines.
2. 2024 Ford Bronco
- Available in 8 variants: Base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Raptor.
- Ground Clearance of Bronco Base, Bronco Big Bend, Bronco Black Diamond, and Bronco Outerbanks are limited to 213mm.

- Just like the Lexus LBX, Singapore is the first country in ASEAN region to get it, it will make its ASEAN debut at the SMS 2024.
