Hello my VW Touran 2004 2.0 fsi petrol is not overheating but the low coolant light comes on after about an hour of driving the car and when I go check the bottle the coolant is gone but if I gently release the coolant cap the water will then come back but last a little while till it does the same thing again, I have recently changed the thermostat housing as I thought it might be that but I am still getting the same problem there is no oil in the water and no water in the oil. I have tried running the car without the cap idling for about 45mins and it gets to temperature and then starts overflowing the coolant, but doesn't seem to calm down as it would if it was air locked, do you have any advice please....? just to confirm the car never overheats and stays at normal temperature

I have a 2.0 turbo ea888 gen 3. I changed a radiator hose and a water pulp but coolant still leaks but slower than before. What might be the reason please?

If your 2.0 turbo EA888 Gen 3 still leaks coolant after changing the radiator hose and water pump, it might be due to other aging hoses, a damaged radiator, leaks around the thermostat housing, or a head gasket issue. Additionally, ensure all hose clamps and connections are tight. A pressure test can help pinpoint the exact source of the leak.

    Would a 205/40R16 fit on a 16×6.5 or a 16×7 or does it matter?
