My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. mowgli and addie have a very very special relationship. i grew up with and around SO many cats and i’ve never seen a cat be like that with a human before lv it’s so sweet!!!

Mowgli is so freaking patient with Addie. So many cats don’t really like humans too much especially little kids but that cat loves Addie so much lol. It’s so cute! Love Lilias shirt! Gosh I don’t know how you remember all those crazy schedules 😬🤣
I had a kitty like him when I was her age. I could literally be so mean to this cat and he would come right back to my lap.

Just commenting to say we starting getting those “parking lot etiquette” flyers and emails for our elementary schoolers a couple years ago. Texas must be a different world. 😂 I still walk up to pick up my youngest 2nd grader because he’s not fast enough for the drive through line (buckling) and we gotta run AND watch out through the parking lot. People drive wild around schools here… even elementary. LOL
They freak out if a parent does that in my state and it’s so embarrassing

Me and 7 year old are dodging cars left and right (in walk areas), lol. That’s why I insist on walking with him still. Though he is a fast runner, I don’t fully trust those hunks of rolling metal or his reaction times yet. Mine are only slightly better. 😂

I’m going into seventh grade but in my state middle school starts in sixth grade. It was a little tough at first to figure out where to go because they kinda throw you in blind… but it’s actually pretty fun and you really mature and figure yourself out. I hope she has a wonderful year!!
Same in my state most middle schools start in 6th grade too lol i guess other states have different ways of middle school lol
@ Broadway Nerd, yeah, I don't get why 5th and 6th grades are in middle school instead of elementary school. I mean 5th and 6th graders are still children and they deserve to be kids and play on playgrounds, they are not teens. Some schools in my state are like that, but my last district, the elementaries are grades Kindergarten through 6th grade, middle schools are 7 through 8 and high school is 9 through 12. And, my other one is k-4 in elementary, 5-8 in middle school and 9-12 in the high school. So yeah, I hate that.

I’m 26 years old and to tell your 7th grader that grade 7 can feel a bit scary…but once you find your classes and your true friends it can be fun! Be sides the homework and everything else it’s actually pretty decent. Tho I’m from Canada Alberta so idk how schools there work….but it’s fun and a new experience! So proud of you to go there. I promise you that it will be fun

I envy you cause of the way you are with your kids. I couldn’t have kids, but my husband had 3, and he has 8 grandkids. I am always here for all of them. If fact, I helped one of his daughters take care of her 2 oldest kids. Now they are in foster. I am also happy that you are there for Chris is boys, and he is there for your kids. Landon looks at Chris more of a real dad than his own dad.

My baby (literally the baby of the house) started her senior year today and I had a moment earlier today. My oldest is 27 and 2nd is 22, so this one hit me hard, just knowing that my baby girl ( only girl)is 👌 this close to being an adult🥺. It never gets easier, but it's so amazing to watch them grow🥰
Where I live middle school runs through 6th to 8th grade. I’m starting middle school and I’m terrified and also I’m not ready at all. I’m super happy for her and I absolutely love watching all your videos❤️❤️❤️

Girl your lucky that squirrel didn't jump on you! They call it "barking" when they make that sound, and they typically do it when they feel threatened or fighting😬 never get close enough for anythng to jump on you like that!
We get to places we don’t like because that’s what we chose to do. That means we also have the power to make choices to get to places we do like.
This video helped me, from lilia being so positive about grade 7 is helping me overcome my fear of coming to year 7 which is for UK would be high-school, because my high-school starts at age 12. I have really bad anxiety and I overthink about EVERYTHING but knowing lilia was happy and enjoyed it helped alot

Hi Jess. Can't believe how much Lilia has grown up. I have seen her since she was wearing princess dresses. Still such a darling girl. Your fear mum is just like my mum used to be. Always hands on. the squirel has babies nearby the noise is their way of warning you, i know its already happened but be aware, if mums been scared off babies may still be about. keep away from the kids and cats. unless raised by humans they can be full of fleas illness. ask your dad xx

Hope Lilia had a wonderful day. Mango is so adorable 😍 Squirrels are monsters. They make terrible sounds, it probably has a nest nearby and was not pleased you were close. When we were camping in Northern Ontario the squirrels were jerks and chased away all the adorable chipmunks 🐿.
Positions: Goalie, defender, striker, midfielders, forwards. I was striker and goalie throughout middle school and high school hope the boys have good seasons and the girls have good seasons as well!!

In Australia we actually don’t have middle school so year 7 is the start of high school. I’m in year 11 now but starting year 7 was a little scary because the other kids are much older and I was tiny, but after a few days it felt normal! I hope Lilia had a great year

I vaguely remember my first day of middle school. I was 12 years old and it wasn’t just my first day of middle school but also my first day of 6th grade. It was a whole new beginning.
Watching this 4 months later, because I love watching old videos (this one not too old tho) noticing that 6:17 Addie was watching shot of the yeagers. Not a big deal but sometimes u just find it odd or funny when u see a TH-camr u like watching another TH-camr u really like! Mango is soooo cute! And Addie and mowgli’s bond is so cute! 😊❤

middle school is so exciting tbh
I’m in my junior year of high school. A tip I wish I’d know is try new things in middle school cuz once your in high school especially upper high school you have to focus on what to do after high school and college. Even if you think you might not like it try it because you never know. Another thing is don’t be the teachers pet but also don’t be the one who is rude and doesn’t pay attention. Do a in between.

I’m in eighth grade and all I gotta say is have fun seventh grade was really fun and this being my last year in middle saddens me so tell Lilia to just enjoy the experience:))

I was in my senior year of high school and then COVID-19 hit and it screwed my graduation up it was supposed to be June 3rd 2020 two years ago but they switched it to June 30th, 2020 due to COVID-19 two years ago
