I'm no evangelical. My objection and distaste regarding all this celebrating is this: are these not immutable characteristics? Were you not born the way you are? Why on EARTH is it acceptable to celebrate your traits you did nothing to earn, which are objectively no virtue in and of themselves? You make the dishonest comparison of accomplishments and result of work to who you were born as. I am deeply concerned because we know EXACTLY where that leads. It others people. It excludes by DEFINITION. Ironic that under the guise of inclusivity, this movement is one of the most exclusive and divisive ever contrived in human history. Do what you want, but you cannot escape the consequences.
I was well aware of what I was like from 4 years old. Culture and denial kept in hiding most of my life. If you want, look up the Stonewall Inn and see why this all started. The things that have happened to gay people and those thought to be gay are atrocious. We have reason to celebrate.
@@mender722 There is a terrible historical precedent when one group celebrates and elevates the status of their immutable characteristics, at the exclusion and othering of those not part of that group. This will not end well, it never has. I wish you well.
Well, thankfully you never had to endure the nightmare like gay men like me had to go through . Sent to a juvenile mental asylum and given electric shock therapy daily in 1972 and in 1989 I was stabbed while coming out of a gay bar in 1989
@Clemburke1111 I know what it's like to be stalked, ran down and nearly beaten to death because I was white. Do I need to plaster that s*** all over my car and let everybody know daily?
Happy pride! I'm glad this video popped up in my recommended because I've been thinking about this topic for a while now. While I don't agree with the evangelical perspective on this topic, I do understand where they are coming from. They think they are helping those who identify as lgbt, because they view their actions as morally wrong. But how is someone's existence morally wrong? Being gay is more complex than just an action. Clearly that was the case for you, since you got kicked out of a church simply for being gay. I never thought it was fair to treat someone different for something they can't control. But that's just my opinion
Welcome to the times? 🌎☀🔭 There's plenty of traditions we don't follow from thousands of years ago, especially in light of fact based science. Like hermaphroditism/intersex being observed in nature. New traditions can be formed, they start somewhere.
Nothing wrong with churches welcoming gays, in fact, they should just like Jesus welcomed prostitutes, however, Jesus would never allow a gay pastor to preside over his church. Just like he would not condemn the woman who committed adultery he did tell her to go and sin no more! Christians accept sinners into their fold, they do not condone their sins or promote them!
hetro people are in your face 24/7 talking about spouses, kids, grand kids, wondering if someone is going to "start a family" (ie have sex). What you are really saying is 'go back in the closet so we don't have to hear about LGBTQ people.
I'm not quite sure why youtube recommended this to me, but it's an interesting perspective that I appreciated hearing! I'm sorry there are people being rude in these comments. I hope you're having a great day despite them, and will never again have to be afraid of being yourself.
@@Lightgreen57 Christians don't want anyone burning, unless at the stake? 😁 What does Not loving one another lead to? I'd say condemning the Fact that things like homosexuality and intersex are part of nature might not be a good thing. Especially if this opinion is based on faith and an outdated man-made book to back this position. Hermaphroditism extends beyond humans. Hermaphroditic plants don't have brains, how is that a choice? Maybe what religion one follows a choice though? Judge not...
Christians will try to not be confrontational because of the fact that we're not supposed to "judge", but its love when we tell you what your doing is wrong. If i say nothing as my neighbors house becomes overgrown, im not helping him. No, i should tell him and even offer to help him even though it might be an uncomfortable situation and come off wrong, thats love. Christ loves you, and if you repent and turn to him he may even show you in this world as well as the next. God bless you.
I have felt the judgment, not so much the love. You used the word "doing". Being gay is not about doing, it's about being. I have been around long enough and have been part of several churches to know that heterosexual people are very busy with various sexual activates. I even had a friend that got his pastors daughter pregnant. Then she had an abortion. People have zero evidence about anything I may or may not have done, but they still treat me like I was hooking up in bathrooms or clubs every week. They judge. They judge without evidence.
@mender722 I'm sure you know many people who say their Christian and stumble, we all stumble, the thing is it's about acknowledging it and trying to do what's Christian and of course that's another thing people struggle with. I'm not trying to tell you anything other than the fact that he loves you [ christ] and it's OK to fall down, try again with a hoping heart. I'm not going to preach to you any more I wish you luck and happiness and a return to christ nothing else. God bless.
What makes you an authority on anything? A point of view based not on facts but faith and a man-made book alone. No one is not God. Last I checked hermaphroditism/intersex exists in nature, and is observable. More than can be said for any Flying Spaghetti Monster concept of God. Facts don't care about anyone's faith, why do I have to pretend anyone's imaginary friend is real? If we can tolerate that, in a free society. I think we can tolerate gay/trans people who too are part of nature/humanity. All are created equal.
If a person doesn't believe in the same (or any) 'god' as you, it isn't in any way loving for you to criticize them for parts of who they are.. Sexual orientation is not a choice..is not a lifestyle..is a part of a person that does not change... It's no different than the color of someone's eyes or their height.. Don't judge others.. Happy Pride..🏳️🌈
When you say you didn’t come out until you were 50, did you live a heterosexual lifestyle until then? Meaning did you try to just “preform” in life as a straight man, with a wife, kids, etc? Or was this something you carried with you for that many years alone? Genuinely just curious. I enjoyed hearing your perspective on this. I don’t have to fully agree with you to respect where you’re coming from.
@@mender722 I know its not anyone's business. But as someone in your shoes that you were when you were a younger man I need to ask. I am in a similar situation. I am also trying to live a single life but I was born this way. How do you deal with societal pressure to 'pass for straight' i.e. get married, have kids. I try to set very CLEAR boundaries on my private life but everyone at work, etc wont stop with the NOSY personal questions "are you married" "who are you dating" etc I wish they would just take the hind and DROP the subject. I would really like to you know how you dealt with this type of pressure?
@@zatarraii7234 I really have never had to deal with what you speak. People can be noisy. I happen to be celibate. I was in such deep denial, that I never could admit to myself that I was gay. It wasn't safe. I never sought a girlfriend. I had no resources to help me understand how to live my life as a gay man. I capitalized on my singleness to pursue my interests. I was able to pack up one day and spend a full year living in the wilderness. I now live in a very accepting (intentional) community. I never had to deal with that type of pressure, not even from family when I was younger. I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Set boundaries. The forefront of who one is as a person is not their skin color, gender, orientation, it's the content of their character and in addition for Christians who they are through the knowledge and image of their Creator, God the Father. Defining one self and others by their immutable secondary characteristics is a great path toward dissociation from one's true self and the way that God's true design intended one to be. We may not choose our natures while in this world. We are all born with sinful natures in various forms or another. No judgement for something you feel inside and cannot help but feel that way. However we are more than just animals reacting and acting instinctively to the whims of our own emotions and attractions. We're human beings, God's children capable of free will and thinking, capable of defying our very natures striving for something better and greater than what we are! For a relationship with God the Almighty. "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus"
But we are animals. However, we are social creatures and because if that we have societal rules and accepted moralities (well-being) to help and guide us. The sad thing is, we don't apply these guidelines to "outsiders". And in this case, LGBT people seem to be "outsiders".
@@mender722 In a basic biological sense I'd agree we are essentially animals. In a social, intellectual, and spiritual sense however is where I'd disagree. Disagree in terms of those who like to call us animals with some sort of attempt to try and justify their own animalistic instinctual, and or sinful natures. That hey I feel this way inside therefore it must be OK, who cares, a culture of anything goes and subjective moral relativism where just about anything and everything can be justified so long as it "feels good". I'm sorry but there in lies much danger! Oh "love is love" yeah well how far does that go? How far do you want to take that? I'd be glad to play devil's advocate and go down that rabbit hole if you'd like? If you move God and His objective moral rules from the equation one can subjectively justify all kinds of evil things. I agree the gay community and anyone who was just a little bit "different" has often been for far too long treated very poorly by some people. I'd totally agree with that! I grew up attending a Christian private school in the 90's from 5th-12th grade. If you were gay in that school and declared it publicly the school would require one to recant or be kicked out. Not very Christian like if you ask me. Even while I attended I always thought that and other very stringent things were quite cold and extreme. I remember I got in trouble one day for referring to the administration as the Spanish inquisition. lol. IN any case if other people have run into similar attitudes from so called "Christians" I don't blame them for feeling hurt, left out, excluded, angry, upset, etc! Nobody deserves to be treated that way! That is not Christianity in my book! The church I attended separately at the time didn't treat people that way. We were loving and accepting to anyone that happened to walk through the doors or otherwise. It didn't mean we condoned what God in the Bible considered sinful things, but we always tried to be humble realizing that every one of us all fell short the glory of God so to speak. We weren't going to treat people like dirt because that's wrong especially when we are called as Christians to love others and show that by our actions as well. In Christianity we are only called to try to spread the good news that is Jesus Christ died for one's sins. Not impose what we believe or try to force other people to think and believe a certain way like we do! Generally that's a pretty terrible way to convince anyone of anything in the first place. To understand that as Christians we need to respect other people's God given free will and choice. I have always tried to live by this, but hey I'm far from perfect. Jesus died for our sins and anyone can accept Him into their hearts and lives. We strive as Christians to defy our sinful natures to live in the way that we were originally intended to through the knowledge and image of our Creator God the father. I say this to you not to be imposing but simply to share in good faith. I respect your freedom and right to disagree. To choose differently. Though I will hope and pray otherwise. I also say this because in many ways I'd argue the LGBTQ community in recent decades has become very stereotypically religious like in it's nature. The community has a certain set of their own beliefs, points of view, and ways of life that they live by. This evolves and changes a bit here and there over time. Generally speaking though as my father used to say "Be carful for in your own way you may become like that which you claim to oppose!" The LGBTQ community I'd argue has become just that! They've grown to be a powerful institutional and government endorsed and funded organization using our tax dollars to now impose their "religion" onto everyone else. Because LGBTQ is considered non-religious however they've been given a free pass. It's now gone way beyond just the LGBTQ community wanting their rights and fair treatment. Now they want to tell other people how to think, speak, play sports, use restroom, and most outrageously how to raise their children in the public school system. They do this all while spouting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The problem is they seem to only apply these things to one's immutable secondary characteristics like skin color, gender, and orientation. No consideration for diversity of thought and culture. No inclusion or consideration for those who happen to disagree and wish to raise their children differently from what the beliefs of the SJQ LGBTQ community wishes to subscribe. LGBTQ is quickly turning into it's own kind of cancel culture, social inquisition. In their own way they're becoming like that which they may have claimed to oppose! I feel this in the long run is only terribly hurting their cause. Their pushing their agenda so hard that it's creating major backlashes. I'd say most people in western countries today have now accepted folks who happen to be gay pretty well. They may not agree with all aspects of what LGBTQ believes in but they are more or less taking a live and let live, it's a free country point of view. That becomes different and people become hostile when you start telling them how to raise their kids. That biological men can now compete with women in sports and the feelings or any objections those women may have, well their feelings don't matter. Nobody else's feelings matter except the new SJW LGBTQ church and their inquisitions. Or long story short people aren't angry because some people are gay. They're angry because they constantly parade it down the street as though they're looking to be worshipped by everyone. It's being shoved in everyone's face constantly and after a while it comes across as very obnoxious. Like the movie Airplane and the religious fanatics that won't leave passers by alone! Finally Robert Stack beats them all up and it was hilarious! LGBTQ has become their own religious fanaticism! They need to learn from the Christians maybe that hey...trying to force people to think and believe and raise their kids a certain way, especially using government and institutional forces is a sure way to piss a whole lot of people off! People get ticked off....and this in turn leads LGBTQ folks believing they need to push even harder! This of course only adds even more fuel to the fire and makes it worse. It's completely counterproductive. Anyhow I think you at least understand my point. Best

You are right. The "pride" in pride-celebration is just saying "we are chosing to be happy about who we are" while the "pride" of the seven deadly sins variety, is to have a sense of SUPERIORITY over others Just like some Christians do when they call others of God's Children "deviant" for being who THEY are, while they THEMSELVES PROUDLY decare themselves to be "normal" and therefore pat themselves on the back like the Pharisee in Jesus's parable that thanked God that he wasn't like "that sinner over there" Very often the irony of it is lost on them ..

Homosexuality is not the only sin that will send you to hell, but it is one of them. If you have ever told a lie, just one lie, you are a liar. If you have ever taken something that was not yours, you are a thief. If you have ever looked at a woman (or man) with lust, Jesus says you have committed adultery already in your heart. All have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. We are all headed to hell based on our own merits. But God made a way out. He sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to die on the cross, to pay our debt, so that all who trust in him and repent of their sins, turn away from their sins, shall not perish but have eternal life. A twenty to thirty year decrease in life expectancy 3. Chronic, potentially fatal, liver disease- infectious hepatitis 4. Inevitably fatal esophageal cancer 5. Internal bleeding- frequently fatal rectal cancer- inevitably fatal immune disease- multiple bowel and other infectious diseases 6. Serious mental disabilities, many of which are irreversible- a much higher than usual incidence of suicide 7. A very low likelihood that its adverse effects can be eliminated unless the behavior itself is eliminated 8. @@mender722 You should tell the truth about your dangerous and destructive behavior (if you are in fact an active homosexual). What is there to be “proud” about when it leads to the morgue? 🤔
@@petertherock7340 I shared my thoughts. I will be as proud as I like. Don't confuse that with "haughty pridefulness". There is a difference. I sought to make that clear in my comments.
Here's the thing. Pride is of the ego, it is not a virtue.... Being proud of who you are for the characteristics that you do not control is just as silly as being ashamed of those same attributes. I understand that the origins of this movement were about equal rights, but it's simply not what it is today. I roll my eyes at most people who celebrate pride, because they seem complicit with the over medicalization of children, (who are not mature enough to give informed consent) with gender ideology (social constructionism) being taught in schools, and the diminishment of women's rights, safe spaces and opportunities in the name of trans exceptance. People who celebrates pride, are quick to express how they are marginalized and just as quick to explain how anyone outside of their movement is oppressive. Most people who have celebrated pride have never even heard of John money or learned about the origins of queer theory, yet they blindly defend this ideology without acknowledging any of its flaws. If a person dares to criticize the movement for any reason whatsoever, the group then marginalizes that individual by falsely accusing them of bigotry, Even if all they're saying is that there are biological differences between men and women. (JK Rowing) Celebrating that you're able to come out and be yourself is totally worthy and I respect celebrating the freedom to love who you want to love and be with who you want to be with. But most people who oppose pride these days do not take issue with The individuals who are attracted to the opposite sex, or even the people who identify with the opposite sex. They take issue with the corporate /medical tyranny SOGI curriculum, compelled speech, indoctrination, and victim/oppressor narratives. Ironically many people who celebrate pride are oftentimes the most hostile intolerant hateful individuals I've seen. Just look at the protests in Canada and you'll see people like Billboard Chris constantly being assaulted for simply saying and defending the idea that children cannot consent to puberty blockers. I truly think this movement accomplished everything it needed to accomplish and it needs of rebranding, and new vision for what it's celebrating before it will be worthy of being taken seriously.
In Christianity I was taught that I was unworthy, broken, a sinner destined for hell. All my righteousness was no better than filthy rags. I don't have time for that anymore. It's a personal, sexual orientation that nobody cares about. That's what this guy cannot comprehend.
I comprehend much. The whole anti-gay teachings started with the mistranslation of two Greek words in the RSV back in 1946. It got carried over to other bibles and flared up by the 1960 or so. Then it was too late to correct the error. Look up the movie 1946 for the full story.

You can dislike that fact, but it doesn't change anything. I'm sorry the church has treated you poorly in the past. We all have sin. I'm kind of neutral here and I have to say about all the examples you listed at the beginning were things that were earned through discipline and hard work. It still doesn't justify the over correction that's happening today with crude parades of half naked individuals flaunting sexuality in public, as well as involving kids. Its in every piece of media constantly being pushed and its to the point that I just don't give a hoot anymore. There's trans women beating up women in sports. There are no laws oppressing anybody anymore if anything it gives you an advantage in todays climate. Just enough with the victimhood.
It seems to me that Christians (of various persuasions) are "playing the victim". You mentioned so many different topics that I never even touched on. Do you know why Pride month even started? My purpose was to address the many comments that seem to want to silence gay people, to push us back in the closet so they can feel more comfortable. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of the gay community is important. How Pride Parades manifest is another thing altogether. That was not part of my intent to make this video. If you are part of the hetero orientation, you have no understanding of what it means to HAVE TO HIDE your sexual orientation simply to be safe.
@@mender722 I mention those topics because it connects to the pride issue. You have your acknowledgement. Christian's just want to "save you". A lot of them are hypocritical and extremely judgmental. I know. You must know what there intentions are just leave it alone and rise above it. Not everyone is going to like you and they don't have to. As long as the law is there for you, which it is, you'll be fine. The over correction that's happening in our culture is doing nothing but radicalizing people on both sides. Its not good. Basically my point is your sexuality to me is such a nothing burger it need not be mentioned. That goes for people who hate you too. I think that's just as strange and should be shunned. I'm not mentioning my sexuality because its not important. You don't get to diagnose who I am as a person by me telling you so why do it. Unless you want victim status I just don't get it. People need to seriously study the Hebrew Language, every time that the prohibition against such is mentioned, the Bible ONLY prohibits the act itself, and even then only a lustful act, the same as a heterosexual lustful act is also prohibited, even as Jesus himself said, "he that looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her in his heart" (Greek NT, koine gk). But what about a relationship, the Bible does not address such a situation directly but only the lustful act. Within a relationship, are lustful acts permitted, yes, of course, which is why a relationship is "bounded". When the sage Shimon ben Shetach (3rd Zugot of the Jewish Tradition) instituted the Ketubah (i.e., a form of prenuptial agreement) within a heterosexual marriage, there was never any mention of a relationship OUTSIDE of heterosexuality, neither pro nor con, but was simply assumed be a heterosexual marriage. However, within a non-heterosexual relationship, not prohibited, even the lustful act itself must be permitted, despite the fact that the sages never conceived of one outside of the heterosexual format, and for that reason NOT PROHIBITING ONE EITHER! In fact, within "marriage" many prohibitions are ignored by reason of the marriage contract, which is why the Sage instituted the Ketubah in the first place.

I’m not exactly sure this popped up in my feed. I don’t like either side of this debate. You shouldn’t feel bad about being LGBTQ. On the other hand, you shouldn’t take pride in it either. It’s not an accomplishment. It’s who you are. In the West, we take pride in living “our authentic selves.” It’s because we are an extremely individualistic society. We need to become collectivist finding purpose in building a community.
I spent most of my life not liking who I am. I did not love myself. There was some self-loathing. I suppose you have heard about that 'Love your neighbor as yourself' idea, well I think many of these people have not learned that.

Nothing wrong with churches welcoming gays, in fact, they should just like Jesus welcomed prostitutes, however, Jesus would never allow a gay pastor to preside over his church. What makes you an authority on anything? A point of view based not on facts but faith and a man-made book alone. No one is not God. Last I checked hermaphroditism/intersex exists in nature, and is observable. More than can be said for any Flying Spaghetti Monster concept of God.
Best

1. A significantly decreased likelihood of establishing or preserving a successful marriage
2. A twenty to thirty year decrease in life expectancy
3. Chronic, potentially fatal, liver disease- infectious hepatitis
4. Inevitably fatal esophageal cancer
5. Internal bleeding- frequently fatal rectal cancer- inevitably fatal immune disease- multiple bowel and other infectious diseases

7. A very low likelihood that its adverse effects can be eliminated unless the behavior itself is eliminated
(JK Rowing)
Celebrating that you're able to come out and be yourself is totally worthy and I respect celebrating the freedom to love who you want to love and be with who you want to be with.
But most people who oppose pride these days do not take issue with The individuals who are attracted to the opposite sex, or even the people who identify with the opposite sex.
They take issue with the corporate /medical tyranny
SOGI curriculum, compelled speech, indoctrination, and victim/oppressor narratives.
I was thinking about saying, ‘I’ve heard of plenty of gay marches but I haven t seen anyone support heterosexual expression’. Maybe, as an attempt at persuasion, that goes too far. The video host seems reasonable, and perhaps even more importantly, honest. Do we have to promote lesbian parenting? Yes we do - women value equality far too much for us not to. Never-the-less, times do charge. Hopefully, we won’t have to promote lesbian parenting forever.
Happy Official State Religion Month
As a gay woman I do NOT take pride in being gay. It wasn't something I chose to be. I understand the early years when gay people just wanted to exist and Not be harassed or harmed. etc , but radical leftism and the woke culture these days has gone way too far. There are others gays, lesbians who also do Not want a pride month. nor even see it as something to take pride in. Pride should be reserved for something you worked hard to achieve, or a talent or skill. Not for things you had no part in. I've also never been to any pride parades and don't consider myself part of any community. I keep to myself.
Everybody in this comment section is talking about religion. Let's put religion aside for a minute, like the guy in this video. Homosexuality is not an achievement. So even outside of the religious aspect, his earlier examples don't work. You should definitely be proud of your achievements he's right about that. Homosexuality is not an achievement.

Your rebuttal is about whether or not pride is a sin and that everyone is proud. But the real sin we should be talking about is homosexuality. Which is very clearly laid out in the Bible as a sin. You can dislike that fact, but it doesn't change anything. I'm sorry the church has treated you poorly in the past. We all have sin. But a church needs to protect its flock and when someone boasts about a sin and is unrepentant of it, what do you expect them to do?
I don't care what your holy book says. There is no proof that a god (the reason for your religion) is even real. It's all made up.
...
Please.
Are you refering to the 'old testemant'?
The one that is Christians were sincere and not two-faced in their faith, would in fact, *ignore?*
What do you mean when you use the word "homosexuality"? Don't be shy. Say it.
Mistaking fart smells for love calls.
People like those in the comments here, are so bitter, I'm afraid their hearts will give up prematurely if they won't stop throwing tantrums and whining about some rainbow flags. Must be exhausting to constantly feel personally attacked by another person's existence. Maybe they should try petting some goats - that's kinda calming.
As compared to what YOU do with goats!
Nothing hateful about caring about other people's souls
As an atheist I don't believe souls are an actual thing.
You're right, that's not hateful. But making judgements on behalf of God, is not only hateful, it's heresy. Cura Pii Diis Sunt.
@@Chris-ki6ui I agree. We should only let them know what the Bible says. Straight from scriptures. No demeaning or jokes or anything
I'm kind of neutral here and I have to say about all the examples you listed at the beginning were things that were earned through discipline and hard work. Your sexually was given to you for better or worse. You didn't "earn it". I don't care about your oppression everybody at one time was oppressed for some reason or another. Your not special but yall act special, so much so you think you deserve an entire month. Meanwhile there's still slavery and real oppression happening everyday. Christian perspective is fine and I understand where they're coming from and I sympathize with your position on there criticism.
Btw I understand people living in fear of there sexuality They are killed or imprisoned everyday in the middle east. You don't hear much about that though do ya? I find that Interesting.
@@mender722 This isn't 1960 nobody who is gay needs to hide their sexual orientation to be safe. Gays are the most protected class in America right now. It's super cool to be gay in college and society, entertainment and in American culture. Homosexuals are among the wealthiest and most educated Americans. Stop this victim mentality. Live your life and replace "pride" with self reflection and humble self control. We don't need trans story hour for kids in order to validate LGBTQ lifestyle. Stop making everything about your sexuality. Just live your life and leave us alone about it.
@@seanb2995 My post was not about MY sexuality, but about the attitude being expressed by mainly Church People. I wanted to start a conversation to maybe help people understand a different prospective. I have no grand illusions that I will change people's minds. When you go fishing, you don't keep everything. You throw some back. There are a lot of voices out there saying all manner of things. I'm one of them.
Its hedonism month, sodemy month , where the only group of ppl on earth that have parades to celebrate their sin, modern day Sodem & Gomorrah.
People need to seriously study the Hebrew Language, every time that the prohibition against such is mentioned,
the Bible ONLY prohibits the act itself, and even then only a lustful act, the same as a heterosexual lustful
act is also prohibited, even as Jesus himself said, "he that looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed
adultery with her in his heart" (Greek NT, koine gk). But what about a relationship, the Bible does not address
such a situation directly but only the lustful act. Within a relationship, are lustful acts permitted, yes, of
course, which is why a relationship is "bounded". When the sage Shimon ben Shetach (3rd Zugot of the Jewish
Tradition) instituted the Ketubah (i.e., a form of prenuptial agreement) within a heterosexual marriage, there
was never any mention of a relationship OUTSIDE of heterosexuality, neither pro nor con, but was simply assumed
be a heterosexual marriage. However, within a non-heterosexual relationship, not prohibited, even the lustful
act itself must be permitted, despite the fact that the sages never conceived of one outside of the heterosexual
format, and for that reason NOT PROHIBITING ONE EITHER! In fact, within "marriage" many prohibitions are ignored
by reason of the marriage contract, which is why the Sage instituted the Ketubah in the first place.
Is it odd that you ask evangelicals to "keep that to themselves" while you try to justify Plastering your sexuality everywhere?
They dont just want to live their lives. They want forced acceptance. Which many are willing to do (love the sinner hate the sin). But thats not good enough.

The real reason why you dont believe in the God of Israel may be simple and vague. Something that happened in you childhood, something you saw in a church. God still Loves you, doesn't matter how corny you may consider it.

What are these biblical predictions that came true?
The calendar as we know it was formulated by Julius Ceasar before Christ.
They think they love themselves, so the "love" others in the same way, which is not much. So, it is an accomplishment to learn to love myself. I also have many other accomplishments.
Yep, you missed the point of all that "church culture."
