I live in bay city TX and I have been living in bay city TX since I was in PreK which I was 4 or 5 years old at the time, now I'm 21 about to be 22 in October and still live here. What I love most about bay city is the fun things you can do in bay city like go to the movies and play in arcade go bowling and watch movies. I also like that there is parks where you can go play at and there is places where you can go shopping and many reasturants to eat at. Bay city will forever be my hometown
My sister lives in nearby Markham, and works in Bay City. My wife, and I, have visited a few times and I would move there in a heartbeat if I didn't already have 15 years into my teaching career. Some the best people I have ever met in my life live in those two little towns. It's my favorite place to visit. It has a Whataburger, a Jack in the Box, and an amazing Mexican Restaurant as well. Sorry, I forget its name. Add to that a great, now gone, western wear shop called Wild Bill's where I bought the most amazing cowboy hat. I love shopping at HEB. Great grocery store with very friendly people working there. I never meet a stranger thier when I visit. There is a Buc-ee's nearby, a big one a little way in Luling, and If you are willing to drive a few minutes, you can go to Prasek's in El Campo, about 30 minutes away, for some of the best sausage and jerky you have had in your entire life. The place is heavenly. I wouldn't mind retiring there someday. The gulf is also just a short drive south as well.
I’m from Houston Ben to bay city one time at the H‑E‑B I ask someone how to get to south 45 so I can go back to Houston or any freeway they told me they don’t have freeways and she’s never seen a freeway in her life 🤣😂 I was like what where am i lol
