i'm using this video to improve my thai lol. so helpful because you say the same things in english and then thai, and the way you speak is natural and like a conversation, and not contrived like other teaching videos are
I'm currently in Thailand. Have had two of this every day so far. Soooo good! Here they serve a lot less rice (mainly one, sometimes two scoops) and a whole mango, not just half.
Here in Korea, mangoes are expensive because they are not grown, but the ripe mangoes are so delicious. You made delicious food with mango. I tried mango rice on my trip to Thailand.👍
I've been in Thailand with my family and the others in 2011. The tour guide also could speak Indonesian. He brought us to O To Ko (But since we are Indonesian,we read it Or Tor Kor haha). There,me and my family tried this Mango Sticky Rice for the first time. It was really delicious! Then I searched this recipe and end up subscribing your channel. I hope I can try your recipe with my friends in Germany :)
I love that you do this video in both languages instead of captioning. Unfortunately I misplaced my rice steamer and basket when I moved. I know. How did I do that.
B.I. B.E. I went to Thailand as a part of a program last year and I loved all the food. Ubon was very nice as well. Don't think any of my replication attempts will have that taste though.
I just made this and it was delicious. This recipe makes many servings. My family and I all had it and there is a lot left over. The only thing I was missing was the pandan leaves because I could not find it but it still tasted great.Thank you :)
think you so much, Ive made this before from this recipe but just now came back to recopy it. Its a very good recipe and i love this Thai dessert. Cant go wrong with Thai cuisine!
Thanks for your yummy mango sticky rice demo. Btw must I boil the mung bean first before pan fried. Appreciate you can put a link for the written recipe
Thank you for the video. I appreciate that you narrated it in both English and Thai. I was wondering, are the half cup of coconut milk and tbsp of sugar you used for the topping sauce included in the 2.75 cups coconut milk and 1.25 cups sugar you mentioned at the beginning of the video in the list of ingredients, or are they in addition to these?
Love all your cooking videos! And your english is perfect! I have a request, can you make a video on how to make palm sugar syrup? Kinda like the ones that are use for the sweet coconut dessert or similar to the ones they use in thailand for making spicy seafood salad. Greatly appreciate it:))
Yes it's a Thai deasert very very yummy. I avoided it for so long when I went to Thailand because it just seemed like a very odd combination but my Husband ordered it one night and i tried it and fell in love i ordered that and papaya salad at least once a day after that lol 😊
Hi Rins, The coconut sauce, instead of putting in the microwave, can I put over the stove? Also, instead of putting cornstarch, can I use arrow Roots? Thanks
thanks for vdo ,I just post on my fb,to let my friends know how make it ..at the moment its good time for this dessert, cuz Australia is mango season ... thanks again :)
Hey, thanks for this video, I now get my sticky rice perfect every time! One thing I still can't get my head round though is the mung beans.... I have dried mung beans, so how would you go about cooking them?
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I just cooked the dish but the rice did not come out right. Instead of sticky and transparent it got soggy and white. Any idea what might have happened? I used jasmine rice. Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your instruction videos! I wondered how much dry (uncooked) rice you need to get 1 LB cooked sticky rice? And for how many servings are your recipes?
Hi, thanks for the video. i want to confirm regarding the ingredients. Is it 2 and 3/4 cup coconut milk or 1 and 3/4 coconut milk ? Because i noticed the difference at the begin part and the last part of video. Thanks.

During the season, fresh mango is actually cheaper than the sweet sticky rice.

Thiago Magalhães are you sure that it was glutinous rice? you might have cooked the normal rice... thats why it turns out white
Thiago Magalhães
Jasmine rice cannot be used. It must be glutinous rice.
Also known as sweet rice
