That is the prettiest police of furniture I've ever seen! Like ice cream mixed with marshmallow and pink frosting. I have to make this for my grand daughter. Thank you.
Unbelievably stunning 😍 Fir some reason that dresser was giving me Beauty and the Beast vibes with the gorgeous design of the wood routing and moldings.
I absolutely adore this piece & the colors couldn't be more perfect! This would look beautiful in a baby's nursery & then in her bdrm as she got older. The dresser would make a great piece to be handed down in the family. I love it!
Omg i have been thrifting since a little girl thinking of ways to make tresures I am 50 now and just found out about your beautiful creations I still have not been able to buy n try your beautiful products none in my town😢.One day I hope to try them thanks so much for making this world a happy place ❤❤❤❤Carmen Ellis
Hi Carmen! Thrifting is THE BEST🙌 Where are you located? If you use our retailer locator, at the top it says 'filter by shop type', drop that down and select 'online' and it will show you any shops near you that you can order online from🤗❤❤ ironorchiddesigns.com/retailers/
Absolutely stunning dresser, the gold leaf is the perfect touch to make it oooh la la! I just used some of your floral transfers for the first time ever, I am purchasing more for another piece because they are that good.
Stunning. Thankyou for sharing your knowledge and beautiful skills with us. I am watching everything you both do . I’m really excited because I’ve got my eye on a chest of drawers and I have one of your amazing transfers 😍
I just can’t believe how absolutely gorgeous and amazing this turned out. I really appreciate the detail you went into explaining each step. I haven’t done a piece Of furniture yet so I’m watching lots of videos and asking lists of questions.
Michele, I encourage you to JUMP IN! you'll learn even more by experiencing it yourself :) theres' only so much you can explain... You've gotta grab a brush and dig in girl!!
Iron Orchid Designs That’s true. I’m just afraid of really messing something up so I’m trying to find something small to start with. I jumped in head first when I saw your videos on TH-cam when you were at CHA! I’m a ceramicist and love all things clay, all kinds of clays and all methods! So I first bought all of the clay molds!! Then I really got into the stamps and finally now I have ordered some transfers. All I really need is a few small pieces of furniture, and some space to work so I don’t get paint and who knows what else all over the house. I love and appreciate you both so very much. Thank you for commenting on my post.
This turned out so beautiful, I love your molds I have 5 of them and I am still collecting them. I want to try a piece of furniture so bad maybe one day I will just go for it. Thank you for sharing your talent with us :)
This is absolutely gorgeous !! Both of you are such an inspiration. I'm glad that you demonstrated how to put the gold leaf on. I have already purchased some and I'm going to try it soon when I find a beautiful, detailed piece of furniture. Thanks !!
BEAUTIFUL love all you do a light bulb went off in my head this morning have you ladies thought about the small nail file bocks for you more intricate details when you’re standing. I’m in the beauty industry it and bang it just hit me !!! Keep the videos coming 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Beautifully done ladies.....it is fabulously gorgeous....stunning...i am not real comfortable using the wax on my pieces yet.....do you apply wax as a sealant or is it to age and soften ? Did you apply it to the guilded areas? Tfs....you ladies are wonderful
turned out lovely...just not keen on the white knobs..I would have done the knobs in the colour of the rose (with the beautiful gold edge you did once before)
I love I love your jobs girls !! ... I'm excited to start using transfers. But I have a doubt, I usually seal my furniture when finishing them with lacquers, I use the Flat High Performance of the General finish line and the Rust-oleum line, my question is if I can use it in the transfer? I hope you read the message Thank you. A hug!
Beautiful...!!! I also noticed the beautiful and classy green panel with birds and blossoms in the background (2:01/20:24). Is that all hand painted or decoupage transfer. Any tutorial possible on this? please...!
Beautiful. I hope you sealed that faux gold leaf very well, as if not, it will tarnish and turn green. The real gold leaf does not need to be sealed as it doesn't tarnish, but the fake stuff does. I'm not a fan of drip marks myself. Why don't you sell these on Amazon so everyone can buy them?
I was wondering the same thing about the gold leafing, unless the wax can prevent it from tarnishing, but that would be news to me. But I agree, beautiful and wish they sold their products on amazon.
Hello from Toronto, Canada. What a lovely piece and such great instructions. I am ready to do my 1930's night tables in this style. Please advise where I can find the transfers. Thank you.
Jan Williams : Hi there! So glad you asked please check our store locator here to find a brick and mortar store near you: ironorchiddesigns.com/find-a-retailer/ also online stores here ironorchiddesigns.com/online-stores/
Hi Carmen! Once you paint it you will want to seal it and then you can just rub an IOD transfer on to it wherever you think would look good! You can also check out our transfers 101 video where you will find some helpful tips as well! ironorchiddesigns.com/decor-transfers/
I sand ASCP between coats to make it baby bum smooth ... Would you do at with this piece so that the surface on which you put the transfer on has no texture?
I cannot find this transfer anywhere. Looked online, tried your links, amazon, ebay. Where can i get this specific set of transfers? I have the paint already. And....did you paint the dresser ol white first?
Some videos on yt recommend to seal the painted piece first (but not with wax), before applying the transfer. But you don't seem to do that, right? Just wax in the end over all and good to go
This video is a bit older. The best practice is to seal your paint with a high quality water based top coat, then apply your transfer and then seal or wax it (don't do wax under the transfer or it will lift off). Your local stockist would be happy to show you all the steps if you want some guidance for a specific project you're working on.
agree about the drips but that's just me also not a fan of the white drawer knobs, I think antiqued gold would have been my choice...little less shabby chic...personal preferences probably, turned out beautiful other than that.
Hi there! To be completely honest, I don't remember! I know it's the gold leaf sheets, and there are many different ones to choose from. I wish I could tell you the exact ones!

A tad too shabby chic for me and the drips don't work. Good job, though and I really like the colour with the muted pink over top.
Beautiful
New Subscriber. 💚 it so far. Came fr JamiRay. Xoxo
Stunning
This is such a beautiful finish! Did you do the wash on the top as well or just the front and sides?
Can't seem to locate the rose transfer used in this demo. No retailers near me or online.
Jarvis and Leah Smith we have a list of online stores here ironorchiddesigns.com/online-stores/

💗
What about the wax… do you idea mine Sloan wax before or after you out on the transfers
You can apply wax after the transfer is placed 😊
Just wow!
AWESOME!!!
Do you apply wax over the gold leaf too?
Yes, the wax will seal the gold leaf.
romance at its finest
Did you use real gold sheets?
Hi there! To be completely honest, I don't remember! I know it's the gold leaf sheets, and there are many different ones to choose from. I wish I could tell you the exact ones!
Am I the only one who can’t stop staring at the word pubescent? Lol Makes me wonder if the meaning is the same in French as it is in English. Lol Beautiful job guys!!
LOL Tamara, yes there are certain words that have a different "feel" to them lol.
First thing I noticed in final view of finished piece!
most excellent
