Honestly this was the perfect video for me to watch today!! This is a fantastic overview of the REOLink system. We are looking to buy a security system... so the timing could not have been better! Thanks Jason!!
I’m about to get couple kunekunes again myself. Ever since I’ve been to your property and saw your pigs I’ve been wanting to get pigs again. That’s a cool security set up.
I like the camera setup, just bought 40 acres in the country. Occasionally people like to drive down the dirt road and 'Look around.' As for stray dogs, don't forget the Country 3 S's: Shoot, shovel, shut up. My next door neighbor was letting his chickens free range for a couple of hours, which he did often, and something came and killed a dozen of them. Now he has game-cameras and only lets the survivors out when he is home and in the yard.
Great camera shots, Jason. That will give you peace of mind for sure. Love the picnic table under the shelter. That will be a great place for Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for sharing. See you tomorrow with Al and Ben. Have a Blessed day.
My husband and I have Reolink for some years now and we love them.. he’s a senior fiber engineer locally in the Carolinas and he’s done other security system and has our house wired so well!! They are great products and I have them facing both sides of my garden and animals and everywhere around the house!!
That's a great idea to have Thanksgiving on the picnic table. What better way to spend time than out in nature with your family and friends and your animals. And after Thanksgiving dinner you can go back in the house and watch on your camera's how everyone appreciated and enjoyed the day. Thanks for sharing with all of us.
Jason great security for Farm & Family. WOW your picnic tale if just FABULOUS I could see in Lorraines face how much she loved it. Cheers Denise- Australia
We live out in the country with almost 7 acres and just put up some security cameras. We put one on the chicken coop/backyard, one in the front of the house, the side facing the parking area and there will be more down our driveway. We've already had coyotes in the front yard this last month trying to get my chickens. If it weren't for my rooster Manny, I'm sure one or more of my hens would be their dinner. We also want to know where FedEx leaves our packages, it's never in the same place twice.🙄
Jason, I know that this is mostly about the security cameras but I love the mobile pole. I am always learning!! That pole is doable for an amateur like me! Many thanks.
Take it to next level Jason. I believe your state has the PURPLE PAINT LAW. Tractor Supply sells it. Allowing you to mark your property tree lines , fence posts ,etc.
We have been using Reolink for the past year, they work great, we have a different model than yours, but we love them on our 4.5 acres. We love that they are solar charged, no issues with them.
Thank you for sharing your lives with us. You have such a great little family and it is wonderful watching you as you build your homestead on and on. I look forward to your videos as you post them. God bless you all!!!
Jason this is so cool love this. Looking at your post you can put a peace of tin on top of the post to keep the rain from rotting out the post . We do that all the time give more life to you post being made of wood.
Wow nice camera, I use Trail camera s as I only have 1 acre now, Love when it snows I see the track LOL No one comes into my yard as I have geese free range and people are scared of them, Love your video and the new Podcast with the guys .
For your movable camera stand are you going to stake it down in high winds and heavy rain? My suggestion would be is to drill holes in the feet and drive rebar to hold it in place, thanks for sharing. Larry
I Love Lorraine's Thanksgiving idea! We have been discussing a more 'intense' security system than what we currently have. I will definitely look into Reolink
Watched this only a couple of days after adding extra cameras to my system. You can never have too many extra eyes on your animals or property. Especially good for keeping your eye on the health of your animals. For me, it's not because I live in a bad area, but I wanted to know who would be at the door before deciding if it was someone wished to interact with.
That's so funny you can talk to Zeke. Nice camera setup walkie talkie. I love how you can make anything. Beautiful sunset. Beautiful place for Thanksgiving I'm jealous 😂😂
Having found a very small very rugged cabin built on our back acreage. Complete with solar & storage shed. With cement walkway. Cameras in the outback are a good idea. He had toted everything in through the woods on his back
Hello, Jason. In one of your videos, you said the final batch of poultry birds you raised this year didn't have the feed trough down the middle of the chicken tractor; are you and your family going to do a taste comparison between a chicken from that group, and one that was raised with the trough?
Go outside of your property and using the road look for your access. Then check all around for the way in. For convenience to the way in then you look at your building front and back including the sides The camera you have looks very good. Thanks for the suggestion.
See you and that Ben holler” I just made this or that off camera”😁that’s all the good stuff mate……great video and thank you for your precious time.kindest regards tam 🏴❤️🏴❤️
Did you anchor the posts? Tent stakes and wire at least, maybe sand bags/blocks? Those cameras will get slammed pretty hard if the post is toppled. Besides obvious wind issue, animals like to butt scratch and rub against trees and posts...
If you find the tower doesn't stand up well in bad weather you can put guide wire/rope on and secure into the ground with the little screwy things they put in the ground to chain dogs on.
Can't help but think it's a shame such things are needed but could yield some interesting results and you definitely made the set up fun. I knew you were making the camera stand but as you screwed on the feet I still thought, Oh look. Jason's making a really crap wind turbine. 🤣
My sister just moved to the mountains in VA no WiFi access. This would be perfect for her. She did finally get that new fancy space WiFi😂 I don’t remember what it’s called😂

I bought two of these for our 28 acres a few weeks back. One for each driveway. So far, they are working great.

Looks like an excellent camera system Jason.
Love your picnic table, and the idea of Thanksgiving dinner outside.
Love the way Zeke raced you!
We have had a Reolink camera for over a year Solar Wi-Fi. it is great and still working without any issues
Jason great security for Farm & Family. WOW your picnic tale if just FABULOUS I could see in Lorraines face how much she loved it. Cheers Denise- Australia
That ending was beautiful.
Loved your video Jason! You crack me up all the time! I love your humor!😅

My hours of watching your channel just paid off! ❤❤❤❤
Jason, Them new cameras are going to be great for doing what you wanna do on your property. They have a lot of great features.

You could make a box for your box delivery. Locked of course.
This way you'll get all your packages.

Berniece! That was hilarious!

We have been looking for a camera like that. Was not sure it existed. Thanks for the information!
Excellent information. Love the picnic table. Awesome video. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🦘👏🏻

Jason you are a great emissary tech geek. Great job assessing the product.

This is awesome!!!! I love it! P.S. Zeke moves pretty good especially for a big beautiful boy. He never even breaks a trot.

Great job 👍
Jason 🧑🌾 you open my eyes 🤩 I'm getting some for my home property. Thank you 🥳
Pass it on ✨.
Nice camera setup, price is reasonable also. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing this information aboutThe solar camera, I do believe our future is almost100 % solar. Stay safe y'all
I've got one of these on my property. Works great at keeping an eye on my equipment.

What a beautiful place to sit n just b blessings from North Texas ❤
That's an awesome camera. Peace of mind.

Great cameras, thanks for finding them:)
great for when sasquatch saunters across your property (such as at 1:03).
this was a great advertisement!!! We need these
See you and that Ben holler” I just made this or that off camera”😁that’s all the good stuff mate……great video and thank you for your precious time.kindest regards tam 🏴❤️🏴❤️
That camera is awesome. Absolutely awesome.
Jason, I'm purchasing these cameras based on your review. great timing.
Wow impressive
This looks like a great product. I'll check it out.
I didn’t get a notification of your video and I’m still subscribed and all alerts are on. I even refreshed my alerts several times🤷🏼♀️
That's so cool!
What a beautiful place to have Thanksgiving!!! 🍁🦃🧡🍂
Good idea! My only concern is that the base of your camera stand might not be wide enough to stand up against winds??
Hmmm I may have to ask Santa to bring me a camera like that. Nice!
Did you anchor the posts? Tent stakes and wire at least, maybe sand bags/blocks? Those cameras will get slammed pretty hard if the post is toppled. Besides obvious wind issue, animals like to butt scratch and rub against trees and posts...
Sweet. God bless.
Great idea and great cameras. I have always had good guard dogs, you might add a couple to your security.
I have a few of their cameras and they do really good for the price. I do prefer the ones that hook into 120v or solar but both have been great.
Great addition to the farm and another gadget for you to play with lol
Thanks for doing a video on these cameras. I am in the market for some in the future.
Nice cameras ! Jason y’all could use a big dog or two like a Great Pyrenees. Protect them birds and them pigs too!
So sorry about your chickens!!
the woods whistle-skip hahaha. love it.
Wow! Very cool device.
I would buy a couple today but if I'm understanding correctly, you have to have a t-mobile cell plan for it to work? Maybe I'm misunderstanding?
Nice job presenting cameras
If you find the tower doesn't stand up well in bad weather you can put guide wire/rope on and secure into the ground with the little screwy things they put in the ground to chain dogs on.
Which exact one did you get? And is there a monthly charge for the cell (LTE) connection?
Jason have you ever watched “The Red Green Show”? Your opening couple of minutes reminded me of Adventures with Bill. Very funny!!
Making farolling stalls might help for pigs during Winter??
What options are available to those of use who do not have cell service at our remote location??? Tim in northern TN
I put my cameras in the trees, no one sees them and that way they don't steal them. Great place for Thanksgiving dinner !!!
Smart move!
Heya, as I was thinking of renting some property for some chickens this could be the perfect solousion
They don't have it in their literature, but those cameras would come in handy in a zombie apocalypse too.
Totally worth it
Can't help but think it's a shame such things are needed but could yield some interesting results and you definitely made the set up fun.
I knew you were making the camera stand but as you screwed on the feet I still thought, Oh look. Jason's making a really crap wind turbine. 🤣
Great job
The camera doesn’t use wifi what does it use?
Does it come in camouflage?
Does it work when you go away from the farm?
I would put blocks on the base of your camera towers so they don't fall over
My sister just moved to the mountains in VA no WiFi access. This would be perfect for her. She did finally get that new fancy space WiFi😂 I don’t remember what it’s called😂
We so need this
I have been looking at these cameras. Does anyone know if there is a monthly fee ? I can’t find information on the website
Does it work with no Internet connection? Like Wi-Fi to the camera and Wi-Fi to your phone, but no Internet.
Awesome! Thanks for the info
