Nice truck man, be cooler if it were a manual 😉 I’m down in San Antonio. I have an 86 K10 that’s pretty clean. If you’re even down this way, it would be cool to get them together
I don’t have to buy a Square-body … I Technically inherited it. 1985 Chevrolet K10 Scottsdale. Wish it worked, family, Grandmother and Uncle, neglected her maintenance. I only got my learners permit recently but technically became mine when i was 12 after the original owner, my Grandfather, passed away, i’m 24 now, and in the 12-year interim, My Uncle mainly used her, my grandmother, even though her name is on the registry wanted nothing to do with it, and because my uncle did Sketchy Shit (Drug-Using and Selling up until recently he was caught in Oklahoma and sent to prison.) her maintenance wasn’t kept up til she wouldn’t start, and she hasn’t started for 5 years. it’s fixable, She’s intact and no rust holes body-wise, it’s just the Engine and internals that’s Screwy, it’s had Two engine replacements over her life, but she’s interesting engine-wise, and a Friend of mine offered to fix her for Parts Cost, all i gotta do now is find a way to get the cash to fix her up.
The hardest rust area for me is the front and rear windows, if you can take windows out before you buy. It's very hard to patch because the contour of the metal, first hand knowledge. my trucks on my page.

Good informative video. You went straight to the point and explained it well.
Beautiful truck! And beautiful town, I went to school there, too
Do you think this is a good truck to have as your first car??
Great video buddy but one huge thing I look at is cracking at the frame where the gearbox mounts.
Was this truck rusted out when you bought it? And how much did you pay for it
@@kupie1399 no. I paid 14k for it. I put about 5k into it replacing the interior, new tires, rear bumper ect.
