Thats one gorgeous truck! Squarebodies and Chevy/Ford OBS trucks are the finest trucks! Look cool, tough and elegant all at once. I just recently got myself my first truck, a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 stepside. And she's a beauty! I love it. She has some spots and minor issues but overal a very nice truck for the money (11k euro). But overall in driving its good.

You can get 20k. And your Right. Be Patient. I looked at so many. My Truck is a Texas Truck. Made it's way to CT. Those OLD TRUCKS. GOT THAT SOUL.

Ours is a 1990 manual dodge power ram. We live in Missouri, we paid $2,500. It has a few dings and needs a paint job but that’s about it. They just needed the money
I would have bought that for 14k myself…only thing I’d add to it is the stock chrome and black push bars on it, if you know what I mean, not the one you sold already
I got a 1995 Ford F250 with 6 inch lift 35 inch tires it's got the 7.3 L international diesel got 287 thousand miles on it I'm looking at trade it or sell it but with the Joe Biden regime war on fossil fuels I know what I'm not going to get what I want for it , my son bought it for $5000 3 or 4years ago put a brand-new ATS Transmission in it brand new tires and rims ,trans cooler ,heater core, water pump ,glow plugs, and a few other odds and ends, what would be a fair asking price or a good trade?
This is a V10, not a K10. There was no C and K Series in 1987, it was an R (2WD) and V (4WD) Series that year. The C and K Series square body ran from 1973 to 1986 and then from 1987 to 1991, the R and V Series became the square body. In the spring of 1987, GM introduced the GMT400 trucks (as 1988 models) and they were called C,K Series again to avoid confusion with the R,V Series truck models. Since this is a 4WD 1987 model, it is a V10 (V for 4WD) and 10 for 1/2 ton rated model.
I have a 87 and on the front fender has them k 10 emblem on it it's a plain gane roll up windows mince 3 speed with over drive side louder. The cheapest truck GM made at the time. I have had it sense 92 I got over 300 hundred thousand on it time for a norther rebuild. But still a good truck
When I would go to get parts store advance auto they asked c or k series never new it was a v series. It really gives them a problem when they ask what size motor and I tell them 1974 350 they look at you funny. Came with a 305

I’m completing a 87 V 20 currently for my son and it’s heading to c10 shindig in June. Purchase to completion with a repaint is under 18k without any of my labor . 4””lift, M/T, 35” BFG, all new interior and exterior paint. A very original looking, red Silverado with burgundy interior. 350 with a 400TH and 4.10 gears I’ve been offered $50k and turned it down. These trucks are hot right now.

Paid 4 grand for my 87 high sierra here in kentucky it has some rust and is not as clean as yours but I’m beginning the restoration process on it

Either the door are misaligned or the front clip needs adjusted body lines are bad

I'd start with the door pins and bushings there like 15 bones pretty easy to install with a helper

If I where you I would add Dakota digital gauges. I have a 82 sierra and I would never go back to the original cluster. It’s so simple
I have them in my 84… they really do make a difference in the overall look on the inside. Way brighter and just all around more functional
Those are nice, but there is nothing more valuable in the long run than completely stock. Nothing. Especially with these older Squares.

@@williamkrise2583 No K10 in 1987. The parts books and other literature support that. They are still R and V Series trucks and the SPIDs show that.
