      @@ToasterVentura I have a GoPro 11 that I bought this spring and I haven't use it yet. I'm looking for GoPro accsesories that I can use for street walking vlogging. Is TELESIN Magnetic Neck Holder Mount for Action Cameras/Phones good or the Snap Mount? I wanna do street walk vlogging and at the same time hide my GoPro11 on my body chest? Any suggestion or recommendation?

    • @ToasterVentura

      Oh yeah so I think for the budget value the telesin magnetic mount is the way to go. I used it when I traveled to Taiwan to capture pov street photography shots and worked super well!

    Nice comparison. I wonder, would the TELESIN mount work with a cycling jersey/shirt that has a zip in the middle? Would the Telesin not hold evenly/tightly because of the zip going through the middle? Thnx.

    • @ToasterVentura

      Too risky with The Telesin version. Because the magnets are not strong enough

    Have you tried using the snap mount without the neck rope? Would it be strong enough just to magnetically hold the camera to your shirt without having to wear the Rope around your neck? I'd like to use it for when I'm at work but don't want the thing around my neck if it's possible. I'm basically just walking around bending over to pick things up

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wouldn’t trust it without the neck strap because you can easily lose the inside magnet piece if you pull off the GoPro. It probably drop in your pants or something

  • @kiendinhkhoi
    @kiendinhkhoi ปีที่แล้ว +2

    The telesin's magnetic neck strap has a big problem, when I exercise vigorously such as running, the cord will slip down.
    There is no way to prevent this.

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  ปีที่แล้ว

      I bet it is uncomfortable to wear too during running. I recommend GoPro chesty for running

    What’s better? The necklace mount or the magnetic mount for telsin? I want to capture pov street photography

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I like the necklace mount (grey one) that I recommend in another video. That one can triple as a makeshift selfie stick, tripod and neck mount too. It sits high on your chest and good for Street photography behind the screens shot.

    Would you say the Snap mount would be safe to record on a rollercoaster ride? Also yes very good video. Thanks! 😊

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would be scared to use either mounts on a roller coaster because if they thing falls you can hurt someone. If you have to use something to film, I like the Telesin neck mount in my other video. That one at least you can add a small tether to prevent fall. Thanks for watching!!

    • @themanyadventuresofgigiandpops
      @themanyadventuresofgigiandpops ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use our Snap Mount on roller coasters (Where allowed) her at Carowinds (NC, SC) and Disney World with no issue what so ever. Also, if you have a media mod for your GoPro, you can purchase a Snap Mount plate specific for the Media Mod. Works great even when we mount our wireless mics. I can't comment on the Telesin stuff, but we're big fans of Snap Mount!

    Which would you recommend for cycling, the magnetic mount or the one you wear round your neck that you briefly refereed to ? I’m thinking of the fact that when road cycling on drop handle bar bikes, you are naturally leaning forward, so just wondering which of the 2 can allow the GoPro to be angled upwards to counter the lean-forward body position.

    Hey bro instead of using your cleaning cloth or that silicone pad to protect your paint surfaces on your vehicle,, try using cling film,, bikers have been doing this for years to protect your paintwork from the magnets on tank bags,, 👍
