Very good. This has made me realise there is no better platform to release any music on than TH-cam. It's simple as. Spotify makes it basically impossible.
@@mickeylmccarey311 how do you do that? I want to upload to spotify for fun, but I also want other people to be able to see it (friends, just people who randomly stumble upon it...) and I want to own what I do.

sarkar already answered the first two questions, but for the third one, absolutely any sort of piece of work uploaded publicly is protected by copyright. unless you specifically say so otherwise or there is some clause in the terms and conditions of the distributor that says that you lose copyright/ownership of the work, you are automatically protected by copyright. as long as you have proof its yours you can also sue other people for going against your copyrighted work if you feel like doing so

Thanks for that tutorial. I am very new to this process so this really is helpful. One question -- must I set up and pay for a Spotify account in order to place my songs there through a distributor? Thanks
My god, I am amazed that this concept actually worked out for spotify when you have another platform called youtube that just lets you upload on your own without the complicated process and arguably has a larger userbase.
We only pay once for a song or need to pay every years for that one song ? And after payment we can upload to all platforms for free of that one track?

Thank you for information bro! After i watched your video, I realise there is no better platform to release any music on than TH-cam. Spotify make it impossible.
It really isn't that hard, use united masters. Its free and its in the app store, play store and its a website too. Unitedmasters allows you to keep your masters and they pay you but they own 10% of your payments. Unitedmaster has a subscription (Unitedmasters Select) and it allows you to keep 100% of your money and you can get your music in the NBA, video games, tv shows etc for $60 a year.
