Hey HondEpic, I wouldn't worry about picking the wrong one because you can always leave and switch a distributor. If you're planning on releasing one a week than free distribution might be a great idea for you. I don't know much about your music so I can't recommend one but honestly try one you think is best for you and see how it goes!

OneRPM wanted me to take a picture of my driver’s license and upload it, as did Magroove and another one like that. Having been the victim of identity theft previously thanks to another company like that, that was an immediate hard pass. United Masters would be interesting for me except I do everything on my computer not phone. Soundrop is no longer free but it’s 99 cents …whether it’s a cover or original it’s the same price.

Keep a good eye on the payout thresholds. There is one for example which has one of 50 dollars which not many reach, so all your revenue will disappear in their pockets then because you can't reach it.

@@dylankai21 the ISRC is a unique code for a single piece of music. It's the same on all platforms and ensures that you and only you get your royalties (you cannot use more than one code for one song as far as I know).
@@dylankai21 so in short: yes, if it's the exact same song, i would use the same ISCR. If it's a remix, it's legally a new song so you would need to assign a new one. But then again, maybe it's possible to assign more, i just know that it's not usual to have more than one code for the same song.

Any of them, I'm pretty sure! I used to use Soundrop while it was free, but I don't think there's a difference. I'm pretty sure as you release a single, you get a link / code, which you put in when adding it to the album, so it counts as a track that was released prior to your album
