Beautiful restoration job you did on the old heater. It looks much better than before and it seems to work like a charm too. Just make sure you are careful using it. Excellent work.
It's a beautiful heater. I think I would have definitely replaced that internal bare copper wiring that predated the invention of high temperature appliance wire insulation. The wiring inside ovens and high intensity discharge lights can resist high temperatures and would be ideal for the inside of a space heater. Space heaters have always been fire hazards... especially antiques. It's beautiful though and I would understand why you would want to keep everything original.
I agree with the previous comments in regards to updating the wiring and proper grounding of the heater. Just because that's how it was before, doesn't mean it has to stay that way
As that was a good restoration you should have replaced the bare wires with insulated wire and added a non conspicuous ground just because it was built with no ground and bare wire dosent mean it should be restored like that be safe not sorry
Quick paced, detailed, no talking. Perfect.
Very tastefully restored. Nice vibe from the colours used. Thank you.

Super vidéo j'adore 👍👏🤩
Perfect to keep warm in the middle of a brutal cold winter 🥶🔥😁
Excellent work 👍👍👍
This heater looks really well made. It must have been expensive when new. I remember the ones we had rusted away in a couple of years!😊
Отличная работа, ставлю лайк вашему видео.
Una restauración fantástica. Saludos desde España.

In this condition, the heater is life-threatening. You have inadvertently insulated the contact surfaces of the safety contact on the appliance plug.
Well done 👏👏
nice work bravo.
So good 👍
LINDA RESTAURAÇÃO! ABRAÇOS DO BRASIL AMIGO!!!!
Well done
💯👍😎💯
14:36 наверху, в местах, где горят участки спирали ярче всего, скоро сгорят.
Nicely done, did you give any thought to adding a modern tip over circuit?
this was dropped in the sahara desert ?
8:11 hello cat

Wow
That is cute
The exact same heater my uncle burnt my grandparents house down with

Disagree - should be restored to original build, but should be a show piece and never used.
Shut👏🏻the👏🏻hell👏🏻up👏🏻
@@marianthelibrarian2274I agree. With something like this no matter if it’s grounded in the restoration process, the entire heater is a fire hazard.
@@TheNibNerd It's perfectly safe if you're careful with it. Just like the open coal fires it replaced, and much safer than gas!😊
@ agreed as a show piece and never used but if it was to be used on a regular basis then yes ground that thing
AEG - auspacken, einschalten, geht nicht!!! I know that's too old for you youngens...
SS grade restoration.
I know you're trying to say it was a really good job but you may not want to use double S's... it means something else.
@Schm1dtstorm well, that was intentional. Lol
What do they mean?
