- It's been 10 years since Anaïs and Samantha shared their first birthday together. To celebrate, they sat down to talk about everything that has happened since then, where they are now and where they hope to be in the future.

Twinsters is one of my favorite documentaries, moves me to tears still everytime i watch it.

So sorry to hear about your dad, Sam. Maybe it provides some kind of comfort that he got to share the precious time of you meeting and getting to know each other. He chose you to be his daughter but he seemed to happily accept Anaïs as another one. This must be the proudest dad moment I can imagine.
Anais sounds so much more like Sam now! But it's great to hear that identical laugh again!

I was very moved while watching your movie, but now 10 years have passed.
In the past 10 years, your life has been filled with births, deaths, meetings and separations.
It's even more touching because it feels like 10 years of human life are encapsulated.😍

First time fatherhood knocked me for six, in a good way. Everything that was 'oh, so important' beforehand was immediately put into perspective. My Son became my life. In that hospital, I experienced this new fear that this little boy was 100% dependent on us as parents. But, that fear goes away within days. These kids keep you far too busy to worry for too long. But, make sure you savour EVERY moment. Time passes by sooooo fast ... we now have three 20+ year old kids :-)
This put a smile on my face 😊
Twinsters is my favorite documentary. So wholesome, it was my go-to confort watch. I watched it over and over again. Until it stopped being available on Netflix France…
I still got your book to go back to, though!

You both can be each other’s neighbors with adjacent houses like every other twin on the planet. Or just move in together with ur kids and husbands in a big house. My dad passed away in 2021 because of cancer too 😢 lots of love to you sam ❤❤
May this meeting occur in the next 10, 20, 30 and more years to come. I hope that on their next trip to South Korea, their biological mother will be there to welcome them with open arms.
