    MW-- thanks for all your enlightening videos.
    Here is a basic question: In your videos you frequently make use of the expression, "the line."
    Could you make video that shows what you mean by 'the line; in different contexts?
    Is "the line" a simple thing or a complicated thing?
    Thanks so much.

    • @masterwong101
      @masterwong101  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      it depends on what martial art you do. It's slightly difficult to explain, You would get a better idea from our training course as it will give you more idea on what it is about. It could mean the line of attack, in line for the next movement etc.

    • @aquaboy2022
      @aquaboy2022 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good suggestion. I would also like to see a video explaining the importance of dominating or controlling the centreline in offence and defence, whether Wing Chun or Taichi or fighting in general.

    • @masterwong101
      @masterwong101  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      aqualinknun It's not a straight forward to answer. There are to many variables. Your need is different to other peoples need. The best thing is to do our training course as the course can cater for individuals need. Thats why people do our course as it can meet their needs. For those critics who are saying styles like wing chun or tai chi is ineffective let met tell you this
    Are you fucking crazy and stupid?!
    How can a style involving a punch be ineffective?! I'm so dissapointed in this generation of people who think a certain style be anyway ineffective in a real fight which is stupid,
    For those critics out there let's take wing chun for example
    Why do you say wing chun is ineffective? Is it because of the system itself or is it because of how badly the practicioner performs making you stupid enough to conclude it ineffective?
    Wing chun is neither effective or ineffective it's just a neutral system it is the practicioner that makes it effective or ineffective
    When you go out there in a street fight does wing chun help you? No! You use wing chun tools to help you
    I wouldn't be so surprised if grandmaster ip man was given a chance to live again to see what's happening to the WC practicioners, I won't be very surprised if ip man double facepalms and begs to die again
    And for those stupid enough to say stuff like "dude just get over it when you keep failing no matter how much tools you use, you gotta know there's something wrong with the system and you gotta question the system"
    My response: question the system?! How do I fucking question the system?! So you're telling me that I should use the telephone and call the system and say "hello wing chun system I almost died why do you suck?" Yeah fuck that, it's not the system that sucks shit, it's you that sucks shit
    Remember there is no good or bad kung fu only good or bad practicioner
    And also know your enemy know....YOUR FUCKING SELF!!!!
    No offense but even a person with half a brain would know that practicioners are the ones responsible for the system not the system itself

    Amazing video, as always. I follow Master Wong since he posted his first video, and i would really love to train with him even for 1 day. I'd love to train even woth his students, that also look pretty prepared!
    Where is this gym? I'm from Italy and i'm really thinking of coming for a week if its not too far away. I practice Kali, and Master Wong System would really complete my Martial Journey.
    He also inspired me to make some videos, but i'm only a student, i will never reach this level of awesomeness!

Do you think in a real world situation that a BJJ practitioner can defeat a real trained Sifu with all things being equal and no restrictions on the Sifu? Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Keep up the great work and keep Kung Fu alive!!!!

    Hello master wong

  • @sideasoundlab
    @sideasoundlab 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm a bit disapointed by Master Wong on this one. You are not doing the basic push hands movements right ( it's even more obvious with your students). Or maybe it's a style I don't know about ? Maybe it's more like Kung Fu push hands ? Each time you receive the push, you break your peng, and then do the movement with all your arm while you should mostly use your waist movement and the arm should not move that much. You should not bring your elbow that close to your body when receiving the push, unless the push is directed downwoard or to the outside of the lead arm. In Yang style Tai Chi, the Peng posture is the way to keep a safe distance between you and your opponent, and by not holding your peng and let your arm come so close to your body, you let your opponent come inside your vital space, and therefore letting him having the advantage on you.

    ....and questions are answered!!! Wow. I see the balance is low in the body in push hands in order to register the direction of energy to pull or push opponent off balance. Ahhh. So nice and easy... thank you. If a picture is worth a thousand words, your vids are worth a googlillion. Lol ^-^. Truly, ty. ....A feast for my eyes.....

    This video seems wholly unrealistic, and mainly just Taiji shapes but no Fajin or yielding being shown here. A lot of Li but not much Qi.

    • @championboy4782
      @championboy4782 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Phil Vickery I mean I can understand of this was a video on fajin or wielding whatever that is but this is a vid on how to push. PUSH. no specific stuff, just how to repel force. I recommend you to read he title. Please. Read the title. Saves me lot of trouble typing.

    • @cuttlefishn.w.2705
      @cuttlefishn.w.2705 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fajin isn't necessary in demonstration. In practice, better to practice form and technique for your muscles to remember. In application, your muscles remember what to do, allowing you to focus on your "sudden movements." Speed, especially sudden, is important in all Kung fu, perhaps even all martial arts, not just Tai chi.
      You can increase your qi by training, even without knowing what it is or worrying about it at all. It's "life energy," just stay healthy and [very] active. If you're curious, look up breathing/meditation techniques and pay attention to "leveraging" being mentioned in videos like Master Wong's.

    I want to see you in a real fight situation, not in training.

    • @perrypelican9476
      @perrypelican9476 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will never see that. A real fight has no rules. You can lose an eye or get a broken neck or some other life threatening thing. A guy like M Wong is not stupid. He will walk away from a real fight if possible. Why would you want to see that anyway? Do you get a thrill from watching someone getting seriously hurt? Maybe you mean a cage fight line mma. That might be cool, but I doubt if he wants to do that. He wants to teach. I think that if he wanted to fight in mma, he would have done so instead of making TH-cam videos. Also mma is a sport, not a real fight. It has strict rules. But I do get why someone would want to see him fight. You look up to him and want to see how effective he is. But from what I said, you can see why it doesn't happen. We know the guy can fight. It's obvious. I'm sure he spars in the gym. Maybe he would film tbat for us.

    Awesome! The deflections look like they are more difficult to master than Wing Chun deflections. I'd like to see your students on the defense sometime, I bet they are excellent martial artists.

      You can judge the students skill based on their performance.

      138mws - Master Wong Sure. They appear to be fine fighters! But what I was trying to say is that I never see them using Tai Chi or WIng Chun in the defensive role. This is your school and you run it according to your principles, I am just making a hypothetical.
