The sails in the picture on the baggy didn't touch the mast. One of them was like half an inch away from it. It looks like they touched only the string and the boom. So that's why they didn't fit like you expected them to. I'd have probably done the same thing. It's always easier to see when other people make mistakes! 😊 Overall these came out really cute! Why do moms buy treats for their kids that their kids never eat? My mom buys oreos, which are okay, but honestly, I'd rather just have those cheap peppermints you can get from the dollar store. Every now and then she actually buys those, but they are "fancy" and dipped in chocolate...too much chocolate to actually enjoy the peppermints. My husband once told her he ate a honey bun that a customer gave him. He didn't even saynhe liked it, he just just said he ate it. So she went out immediately and bought some ridiculously large wholesale pallet of honeybuns that she keeps in her garage and they have been there for the past 4 years. I'm pretty sure they are stale or past expiration or something, but she will never throw them away.
I was never dating anyone on valentines until I was engaged, but we didn't celebrate it because we got married 4 days later and were doing wedding prep stuff. 5 years later and we still haven't celebrated it and probably won't this year either, because not only do we have our own anniversary which is more important, but our twins birthday is 2 days after our anniversary. So I have never officially celebrated valentines day in my life.
That makes sense, there's only so much celebrating one can handle in a short time period like that. I buy myself skittles on Valentines day every year. Just a little treat for myself 😋
