he beats ed imo - ed is a car salesman to his core - which isn't a bad thing - but he's not going to go underwater on anything much less invest multiples of what the car is worth into it out of love - he makes markets and falls into good deals he shrewdly negotiates. The guy building a e39 M5 estate in a tribute spec to a generally weird BMW that also drives the cars but wants everything perfect cost be damned.... thats the dream. He doesn't have to hustle - again not knocking ed - but these two are living the dream. Sometimes I wonder about the hang out areas in garages like this - like... do you really have friends who just come hang out at your garage? yeah... If i knew these guys I would be there as much as they would have me - what a cool family & collection.
This is one of the most ultimate baller collections I’ve seen so far. I’ve followed Fish for a while and just been so in awe of his collection. White warehouse, white cars, all color coordinated and matching. You see so many car collectors with 488 Pistas and Aventadors all in weird looking specs and contrasting colors, it’s refreshing to see a simple collection of just some good looking and good driving cars in a simple and clean space.
Richard Sr is a legend. Walked in with my dad as an 18 year old to his evanston vw dealer to test drive a manual vw CC and he worked with us directly and let us take it for a whole weekend
Used to follow and speak to this dude occasionally on social media, he’s probably one of the most down to earth and laid back collectors out there, and knows his shit.
Please do a follow up on the orange Nissan! I'd love it if you could do a segment with the car on a lift. I love how a guy with a million dollar car collection says that a Miata is the most fun car he's ever driven.

What a great success story-from being a car salesman in the early 90's to owning a bunch of new car dealerships now and being able buy all the toys. How can anybody say that America is not great?
The 2 mechanics have the best jobs in the world guaranteed!!!... They remind me of guys who used to work at my dads motorcycle shop in the 80's.. real hands on dudes..
As a car sales for 5 years of my life in my younger days i have alot of respect to how this man made a life and his family with being in the car sales market hey days

Back in the 90’s my nephew bought a Jetta from the Volkswagen Autobarn in Evanston on Chicago Avenue. That is the Northwestern Universty neighborhood 👍. During this time period I was driving my all 91 Si Prelude 4WS all through Chicago which is where I’m from👍
Just went to VW Autobarn in Countryside, IL yesterday and funnily enough you can see many of the vehicles within this video on display in the dealership's showroom.
I just woke up from my dream when this video ended. Holy shhhh....if I were disgusting rich I would be them. The most normal ppl with the craziest addiction to cars. I want to live this one day...
It's funny you mentioned pool tables, that's the style of interior I want one day but with actual pool table felt with hand crafted wood and leather accents from pool table materials.
Silly Cool Collection!!! Even though Jr was all "not my idea" the Rally lights are kinda fitting for the angriest sounding Mazda 4 cyl Mx-5 I've ever heard. Now I kinda think Mazda should put those standard on the Cup cars.... :P Watched the whole thing, LOVE IT ALL!
