There is some kind of idea that's been spreading recently saying that Pekora has "beaten" her social anxiety, or "broken out of her shell" or whatever you may call it, with stuff like the recent collabs with Moona. As nice as it is to see so much support for her, it's not like anxiety just disappears like that, it's not a flu. She did say that streaming makes her feel invincible but that offline is different, so despite having these difficulties, she STILL manages to power through it when she's live, most likely so that watching her can be as interesting as possible. In a way that's her relationship with us viewers that pushes her to do things she wouldn't do on her own, and tbh I find that even more impressive than just some sudden "character development", it's both an incredible effort she's making for us, and something we've enabled her to do by sticking around and watching her content.

Though I am religiously following Rikka and Shiina Nanoha for their lovely singing stream.
Pekora will forever be one of the most unique VTubers to ever grace the platform. From her laugh, to her spoiled bratty attitude, to her evil yet genius schemes and her heartwarming emotional moments, Pekora truly embodies that of a person we can all connect to. What's more is that she tries hard to connect with all of us, from having fun teasing us, to us teasing her and making her "cry". She might not fit the ideology of a Japanese idol, but to me, she fits what an idol should be. Relatable, caring, fun, and always trying her best to make people smile. I will forever be happy that I found Pekora.
