i played this too and thats good gamr like minecraft,better thing is you can use piston as an elevator in survivalcraft
and you can get flu if you dont make a shelter

For a minecraft clone, SurvivalCraft feels extremely dense and focused. It also has a different, more serious atmosphere to it. I like it.
Doesn’t this game have like dozens of more mobs in it too? I think I remember playing it a long time ago, and remember stuff like lions and tigers and bears

this game had better redstone than minecraft did at the same year, and honestly still does have the best logic systems
I remember loving the redstone system in this game, making the currents go through blocks
dude redstone in that game can be vertically placed my mind was blown as a kid
The logic machines possible in this game is miles ahead of Minecraft's. I remember downloading a map once where they made an enlarged jukebox that had 15 selectable songs in it.

yeah you can place wires that are flushed with the wall. Redstone in MC is such a pain in the ass in comparison
What they still need to fix:
1. Riding animals shouldn't instantly kill you when you are going through some blocks
2. Food source animals should spawn near you (cows, moose and ECT)
3. Limit hostile animal spawn (Lion,wolf, tiger) near you
The developer haven't posted anything in like 4 years. I Hope he's still alive.

3rd one, yes definitely, i would play this game a bit more longer if me sleeping everyday spawns those damn creatures around me everytime i wake up
Welcome back to Survivalcraft, I still remember this game went viral in 2015-2016 but haven't seen many youtubers playing this game lately 😥😥😥
Survival Craft was the only Minecraft clone that wasnt a clone to me. It had alot of depth, especially for a clone AND mobile game. It also dives into alot of mechanics minecraft doesnt and not going to lie, the eletrical/wiring system in that game can do some crazy stuff. Tons of animals, behaviors, craftable weapons and armor, all slapped together with a somewhat challenging and slightly realistic health system. (I.E. You get hypothermia, or thirsty etc) Its worth the 3 bucks, not to mention the game has a built in map sharing page where you can try other peoples maps for free.

Truly the best Minecraft alternative. Loved this game back in my teen years but quit from the lack of communication from Kaalus.
I think I'd consider the best Minecraft alternative to be Vintage Story. I highly recommend trying that game out. Like this game, but better

I first started playing Survivalcraft on mobile when it first came out but only recently got it for Windows. I hadn't played it for a long time but this game is still just as awesome as I remember, personally I think some aspects of it are better than Minecraft like the fact that you can get sick if you get too cold. What makes it better is that it's part of the vanilla game without the need for mods. I subscribed because it's nice to see someone doing a series on this amazing game!
I remember survival craft, I remember being able to download maps but anything that was done to it by someone was also done for everyone else’s version of the map. So if you for example blew up spawn it would be blown up for everyone else who also had the map. It was pretty cool.
I also remember blockheads, and I thought it was so cool that things in the furnace could smelt even when I was off the game.
Ngl this game was wayy better than minecraft
There is also a splitting mechanic in the inventory, you can check its entry in the help menu.

You gotta hold the stacked items then a red border would surround that item. Now if you click on an empty slot it will put one. That way you dont have to drag one by one

I never knew there was ever a community to SC. I used to play SC since like 2014 and randomly found it on the playstore. It is the best game too IMO. It isn't a "knockoff of MC". It never was meant to be. It has a lot of unique mechanics to it. I used to play it with my cousins by sharing tablets taking turns and building few creative cities. Over the time I have collected over 1000+ maps in my personal dropbox. It was peak tech then, MC wouldn't let you ever save your worlds everywhere on an iPad but SC did allow it on Dropbox. So I have maps from my 2014 days haha.
So it's common that every player develops some kind of extreme hatred towards those stupid wolf.

back to 2012 when i discover the game, that was such the best copy of minecraft for sure, what a great game with real ambitions
I used to play the original survivalcraft on my Ipad and thought it would be just a minecraft rip off but I was suprised to learn just how much more indept its mechanics were to MC at least back then. It also had an ingame library where you can share and download user created maps at teh touch of a button. It made making adventure a maps super easy thing to do.
The intensifying moments in the dark is definitely survival craft 💯😂😂

I remember I had a world in which I found a diamond shovel in like 2011-2012, I didn't know English that well but I knew the shovel was precious so I put it in a secret chest somewhere on the beach, one day I went to retrieve it and got lost and never found my way back to my house 😆.
