I've always wanted to try this event, even more so since I bought my 2017 Crestliner VT17 from Whites Marine Center down there. But I'm so intimidated by the huge reservoirs, large boat traffic, and crowded boat ramps. Especially since I'd be solo most likely. How crazy are the public ramps? Are there many solo's who have to take more time launching and retrieving their boats? Maybe one of these years...
Give it a try. Once you get to LOZ you will figure eout how to fish, boat it etc. I fish out of an 18'8" crestliner and when I run the main channel around lunch time I just stay close to the shore, 75-100 foot off shoreline. It's a great fishing Lake
