However this song genuinely made me tear up because they're more targeted to a toxic relationship, and the last one I had ended a year ago and still to this days gives me nightmares. Even now after that horrific experience that caused me to go from depression to s*cidal thoughts which I still struggle with, my mind goes to those memories and blames myself even though everyone who knows what happened knows I never was the toxic one. In fact, the bastard thanked me for fixing his emotional issues and helping him open up to his friends, after ghosting me for months and then saying he's gonna throw me away. AMAZING concept and song. I love Kard and, like Dreamcatcher, think they're severely underrated. The only other group I truly stan is (G)-Idle but they are getting the recognition they deserve. Gunshot is epic in my opinion- Jiwoo KILLED the acting in this one. Somin's voice and visuals were just something else- the contrast between her personality and stage presence is nuts and she can be overlooked due to her shyness, yet is hard to ignore in videos and onstage. BM always brings the coolness, voice and charisma to every song and Jseph's rap hits HARD always. I truly hope they get the win they deserve with this- they're such an adaptable group in terms of their style.

My thoughts are that the ending was to make you think about how your words affect others and yourself. Even if that person who said the words isn't there, in your mind you constantly keep replaying them over and over. As someone who is working on not constantly internally berating myself, those words you tell yourself is just as harmful and if another individual were saying them to you. So my message was be mindful of how your words affect others but also remember to be careful of what you are internally telling yourself. Self love is not a selfish thing and is an act that is important for your own personal mental health. So the ending of watching Jiwoo kill the other version of herself was killing that negative mental dialogue that was trying to destroy her.
I wish that there could be some award categories for these "smaller" or "less-popular" groups or else it ain't possible for them to win, and that sucks. Like Dreamcatcher and KARD and many other such groups sadly cannot beat bigger groups like BTS, Blackpink, Twice, etc (at award shows) and hence they remain undiscovered and people sleep on their talents. South Korea, improve your award-show categories and please give some recognition to these smaller yet ABSOLUTELY TALENTED groups. I love how the opening sequence of Jiwoo ties back exactly to the ending. Other than the general "words hurt" message it discusses that the words of their lover is hurtful to them and sections of the song say they want to be freed from this toxic relationship. So in a way the song and the part where Jiwoo shoots herself is similar to how Jisoo and Ross were trying to kill themselves in the Kill This Love MV. They want to stop themselves from desiring to go back to their toxic relationship.
the ending, i think, is signifying that you can also say thing about yourself that can have the impact of gunshots. Like when you have this little voice in your head saying horrible things. Sometimes the most toxic relationship you have is with yourself. So the ending for me, when you see the double of all the members getting crazy, it's them in their head doing damage to themselves. And when she face herself at the end and kill that part of herself that hurt her the most, i feel like it's a way for the group to say they also need to take care of themselves and quiet down those voices. i think the overall concept is about abusive and toxic relationships, that goes from media, partners and friends, but also to yourself.
I feel like J. Seph is so underrated in KARD. I rarely see comments about him. This is his last song before enlistment and who knows if KARD will even be even around when he gets out. They said DSP is having financial difficulties. Ppl need to buy their music and not just stream.
I think the ending summarizes the whole meaning of the song. See how the wounded/corrupted Jiwoo killed pure/clean Jiwoo with a gunshot. I think amoung the 3 different outfits of the menbers each represents "words", "powerlessness" and the "consequences". For exemple the Jiwoo in black (consequences)is wounded and is about to burst in craziness because the red one (words) singing in a mic and using big speaker killed the jiwoo(powerlessness) in white who tried to escape but she couldnt do anything against models. Jiwoo became a prisoner of words (black outfit). The cameras also shown how everyone is watching her decadence but doesnt react. Fortunatly she unfastened by herself. In the end she wake up in front of "words". But "Words" dont have a gun and Jiwoo has . The roles are reversed because Jiwoo decided to use " the words", she was so exhausted so she answered back the same way ,speaking bullshit is the easiest,and took the place of the red jiwoo previously words. Or for a happy ending the Jiwoo in black doesnt care anymore of the words and surpass them, so she silences the haters. That was my theory thanks u for reading ;)

Like Dreamcatcher and KARD and many other such groups sadly cannot beat bigger groups like BTS, Blackpink, Twice, etc (at award shows) and hence they remain undiscovered and people sleep on their talents. South Korea, improve your award-show categories and please give some recognition to these smaller yet ABSOLUTELY TALENTED groups. It just breaks my heart to see these masterpieces of MVs not getting what they deserve.
I'm by no means saying that the bigger groups are not worthy of what they have, they too have worked hard for it and hence it wud be great if there was a lil change in the award system, idk Im just saying what I feel after watching Boca and Gunshot not getting recognition....(and this comes from an ArmyOnce)

I used to suffer from mental abuse from two people who accused of things that I never were and it tore me up inside, I had to rediscover who I am as a person as such, but I know I'll do better, words can hurt, but hope with faith is stronger. you are never enough.

I love how the opening sequence of Jiwoo ties back exactly to the ending. Other than the general "words hurt" message it discusses that the words of their lover is hurtful to them and sections of the song say they want to be freed from this toxic relationship. So in a way the song and the part where Jiwoo shoots herself is similar to how Jisoo and Ross were trying to kill themselves in the Kill This Love MV. They want to stop themselves from desiring to go back to their toxic relationship.
the ending, i think, is signifying that you can also say thing about yourself that can have the impact of gunshots. Like when you have this little voice in your head saying horrible things. Sometimes the most toxic relationship you have is with yourself. So the ending for me, when you see the double of all the members getting crazy, it's them in their head doing damage to themselves. And when she face herself at the end and kill that part of herself that hurt her the most, i feel like it's a way for the group to say they also need to take care of themselves and quiet down those voices. i think the overall concept is about abusive and toxic relationships, that goes from media, partners and friends, but also to yourself.
I feel like J. Seph is so underrated in KARD. I rarely see comments about him. This is his last song before enlistment and who knows if KARD will even be even around when he gets out. They said DSP is having financial difficulties. Ppl need to buy their music and not just stream.
I think the ending summarizes the whole meaning of the song. See how the wounded/corrupted Jiwoo killed pure/clean Jiwoo with a gunshot. This shows how words can slowly destroy people until those they became insane that could completely change yourself or your mindset that summarizes to what’s happening to people nowadays especially the idols in this industry where hurtful words can easily pierce to them like a bullet that could destroy them.

I think amoung the 3 different outfits of the menbers each represents "words", "powerlessness" and the "consequences". For exemple the Jiwoo in black (consequences)is wounded and is about to burst in craziness because the red one (words) singing in a mic and using big speaker killed the jiwoo(powerlessness) in white who tried to escape but she couldnt do anything against models. Jiwoo became a prisoner of words (black outfit). The cameras also shown how everyone is watching her decadence but doesnt react. Fortunatly she unfastened by herself. In the end she wake up in front of "words". But "Words" dont have a gun and Jiwoo has . The roles are reversed because Jiwoo decided to use " the words", she was so exhausted so she answered back the same way ,speaking bullshit is the easiest,and took the place of the red jiwoo previously words. Or for a happy ending the Jiwoo in black doesnt care anymore of the words and surpass them, so she silences the haters. That was my theory thanks u for reading ;)
Honestly jiwoo did get some hate on Good Girl from some, I can see why it was her at the end. HOWEVER this is a bop and is so deep. This deserves wins and more recognition
