I love that your wardrobe is dress based! I also love your "bird blouse". I found a sweet bird blouse at a consignment shop. Mine has hummingbirds and a different scheme, but I love it...so fun!

TH-cam recommended this video to me and I'm so happy I watched! I'm a huge Daily Connoisseur fan like some other commenters and I'd love to see more 10 item wardrobes in action. Yours looks great. I love the denim dress and oh my gosh the two fair trade dresses are STUNNING. The special occasion one with the interesting neckline, wow. Where is the 2nd special occasion dress from? I don't think I saw a caption. That's a style I'm really wanting to include in my capsule-ish wardrobe this year. Looking forward to checking out more videos!

Your hair looks great! I can't believe you cut it yourself. The only time I've tried to do that was in junior high, and it was a BAD idea. I love your choices, especially the dresses. :)
Ha! Ah the crazy things we did to ourselves in junior high! For my birthday I got a perm and I had so much hair it turned into an A-line poof! Anyway, thanks for your kind words!

Love everything! Can you tell us how you take care of your dresses? I feel like I need to constantly wash everything but I know I am ruining the fabrics by doing that. Do you have any tips to make clothes last longer?
Great question! I have a largish mesh lingerie bag {from Wal-mart} and I usually wash a dress or two at a time inside of that on cold/delicate. Then I hang to dry. That's it! :) Oh and I wear an apron a lot to keep stains off. Hope that helps!

Thanks!!! Kampala Fair is so sweet to see. As we live in Uganda, it is such an amazing brand of fair trade for the people there. They are literally sitting around in the shop making the dresses and also hand woven rugs! It makes me so happy.

I love it all! I need to invest in 10-15 quality pieces that I love, instead of my closet of crap poor quality chips stuff that I hate lol. How much workout clothes do you have? I'm a workout clothes hoarder 😊
Take your time to collect those 10-15 pieces! It will be fun! :) I have one pair or workout pants and 2 tops and shoes and socks. I wash them every other day. :)

Yes, they are from right down the road at the local market. I think Amazima and Noonday sell versions of them online...sorry I'm not more help!

How do your Boden dress sizes compare to your Ann Taylor LOFT sizes?
Hi Victoria, Good question. So Boden dress sizing can get a bit tricky, especially if you are ordering second hand. I bought my dresses new from the Boden US website and they have US/UK sizing side by side. So I wear a 0 or 00/XS/XXS in ATL. I order 2R US in Boden. That's a 6R in UK sizing. Does that help compare?
Have you been following Jennifer for a long time? You have several of her dresses.
I think the only one that I have that is the same as Jennifer in this capsule is the Rebecca Taylor. But yes, I have followed her for a long time and since she is close to the same size/shape as me, in the past I've bought a few dresses that she recommended! :)
What are the white jeans you never mentioned them?
Ha! You are the only one to notice! After I started filming I decided I didn't really want to include them this season, so I took them out...maybe they will show up in the fall {Yes! White jeans after labor day! Since it's tropical summer here year round I can get away with it!}. Thanks for asking!

I actually did a tutorial last year with longer hair...it's pretty much the same thing. Nothing fancy, just me and my curling iron. :)

Yep, you could call it that. I like to use the 10 item wardrobe model per Jennifer L. Scott and have 10 core items with extras. But you are welcome to do it however you wish!
Yes I've actually have seen it done where "10" means 10 shirts, 10 pair of pants, 10 dresses etc! I liked this video and who cares what you call it!? haha I am also a mom - 2 little ones right now and recently went out and got 7 shirts .... all the same style but each a different color haha I call it my uniform for work :p Did it that way mostly because I needed comfortable, easy to work in clothing that is also affordable and has buttons ( as I am a nursing mama) was really difficult to find for some reason so I just got all of them when I found them. I love them- they served their purpose! Thank you for the video! Making videos takes time and as a TH-camr I know you don't always get a reward for your hard work. I've heard people say that and I'm learning it now myself. But just so you know you're channel makes an impact so keep it up, even stuff like this! People get to know you, what you believe, how you do things and you inspire people. I enjoy your videos!
