I'm on ssdi and no help with nothing so I was one to say I never this I never that. I started saving what ever I could even down to just saving a few pennies. I have paid off 2 credit cards and I have a small emergency fund and grocery fund started. You have to believe in your self in order to overcome your doubts. Thank you baddies and budgets for being real and keeping people like me going in the right direction. 😊
I'm low income so I find the 100 envelope challenge really intimidating so I actually came up with my own version. It's not a 5k result which is okay, but it's been a good starter for me to better manage my finances since I keep going off the rails with them but everyone falls sometimes, or multiple times. Just have to keep getting back up. I havent completed my challenge yet but I'm hoping this year will be different and I'll be able to complete it.

I’m so happy I came across your video back in October. I’ve applied what I learned from you and now as a single mother of one I feel financially free. I have so many categories in my sinking funds that I don’t have to no longer worry where the money is going to come from. In total I have about $3000 saved with all my sinking. Thanks again❤

You are the first budgeter I started watching in September of 2022. You are so motivating and watching you and others has helped me to budget and stick with it. I was doing the 100 envelope challenge, but a week ago my daughter needed to get glasses and she and my son needed new shoes. Well, there went all the money I had put back in the envelopes. Yet, even tho I was upset, if I hadn't have had that money set aside, I'd have been using my credit card. I had to tell myself that even if it's pocket change, I'm going to keep putting back what I can. I'm determined to stick to my budget and get out of debt thanks to your inspiration! I've created my 100 envelope challenge kit; haven't started yet BUT I'm currently doing a 52 week challenge, the $1 and $5 challenges for the year, a mini $1K challenge that I'll repeat all year, and the savings binder to get ahead. I was out of work for 5 years while being my mom's full-time caregiver, and I have no regrets about that, but I'm having to redirect my energy and focus back on myself. You have to experience it to understand 🙏🏾. Finding your videos in Oct/Nov last year was incredibly motivating because I am a saver by nature, and your methods just make so much sense. It's empowering! Not to mention I love your straightforwardness, and how you remind us to remember our own worth. Thank you! ❤

Everybody got a sad story. I use to throw caution towards the wind. But that feeling you have when you can't pay a bill that has to be paid, got me. I said to myself, myself said huh, I will never be broke again EVER. So Babygirl keep up the good work. It helps me a lot.

Girl, you and The Budget Mom are my favorites on TH-cam. You’re a blessing! Your savings challenges are super motivating and I get excited for paydays to allocate money in my savings. Right now, I’m doing the $1 and $5 challenged combined together and I’m also doing a $25,000 savings challenge that has super small denominations at a time and there’s no deadline to finish, but I believe I can do it. I’ve practiced using my saving muscle for three years now, so I know anything is possible..thank you!

This is my second month trying to budget and I am still struggling a little bit with estimating how much I would need for weekly expenses since I get paid monthly but I am not giving up! Each month I am getting closer and closer to grasping it and I can't wait to start seeing the savings! Thanks so much for making me feel like a baddie that budgets haha.

I found you on MSNBC made it and I’ve been telling my husband for years we’d have a better grip on things if we used cash envelopes because for me I need to actually exchange money when spending it to grasp what I’m spending otherwise it’s just a free for all!

Back in my single Mama days I used to use the envelope method for my budgeting (I’m 46 as of yesterday) I was working 3 jobs to make ends meet. So if someone says they aren’t making enough money, they aren’t trying hard enough or they’re allowing excuses to occupy their lives. I just discovered your channel (I’m not on TikTok). This is so fun! I haven’t ordered anything, yet, but I will. Plus watching your gorgeous nails/hands handle all that cash is so satisfying!
