They would rather me have BS'd things to customers instead of doing the more honorable thing. I'm glad I didn't get that job.
A lot of people have too much pride to say "I don't know" and start making shit up which becomes apparent. I notice this at work too much. 99% of time when a person doesn't know how to do a specific function they will never ask anyone what it is or how to do it because it puts them in an inferior position and compromises their status. There is courage in saying "I don't know" and "please show me".

To anyone who sees this, it took me 18 years to get into the room for an interview. Nobody can set a time line to how much you have to go through. I once quit my great paying job and drove cross-country to hand-deliver my resume for a job I really wanted. I was scheduled for an interview with a panel of 7 executives within two days. One of the many questions they asked me was, "how would you feel if you didn't get the job". I said, "I'd be fine because I know I did everything in my power to get it so I don't have an excuse that I didn't try hard enough". Funnily enough, I interviewed with a company two years ago for a service technician role, and their whole attitude towards "owning up when you don't know an answer but striving to find one" was reversed.

You and me man. Sucks because I always excel at any job from knowing nothing to managers asking me if I want to become manager, because I really do work hard. Wish they could just let me show them by giving me the job.
Word of advice, if your interviewer starts generically cross-examining you, you don't want that job. It's a display of laziness and poor character on their part, and even if you like the job, you have to ask yourself if you want to work with that person.
@@nahor88 I had an interview before where they asked me if I can sing or dance, and I said no. I was applying at a hospital btw and didn't get the job.
Always remember, You're interviewing Them too. And let them know it.

Will Smith should play more roles like this instead of action movies, he is a true talent
This is such a sad movie, so depressing to see someone go through this heartache of life. But such a beautiful ending.
When your charm is so strong, it muffles out all other negative qualities lol

I bet you don't like dogs. I agree though, dogs are some filthy animals.
Companies hire personality... so it's good to be positive all the time.
You realise this is a film right?

I'd have a special interest in the man who walked in with no suit...and off of a painting job....Id pay very special interest. He knows what hard work is.
That particular job isn't about hard work though. It's about smart work.
If he's a painter, then it's initially doubtful he's intellectually equipped to handle the job.
Great movie though.
Best dad and son version that way
Basically what he meant was, whether he finds a way or makes one.. Loved it
