This GSXR is the most underrated new bike. I think it's objectively better than most of its competition. I predict it gaining traction and popularity, maybe even steal sales away from BMW.

Nice to see someone actually riding Sport tires in the rain and giving feedback. They're probably a lot better in summer rain with warm pavement than if it were cool and raining. But most sport tires like the Q3 or Supercorsa suck in the wet.
That new gsxr is SEXY!!! we rode from CT to Laconia NH a couple weeks ago in pouring rain for about 80% of the ride. I was the only idiot without rain gear and got sick as a dog on the ride back...still had an awesome weekend and wouldnt change a thing. Lol You're a brave man flying in the rain at those speeds.

I enjoyed this video especially the part about those fantastic Bridgestone tyres. Whilst I was watching I was enjoying a Pepsi with its refreshing taste. I always enjoy a nice icy cold Pepsi, especially with friends. Pepsi the choice of a new generation
in the underbone category, i owned both from Yamaha & Suzuki in the past. and in my honest opinion, i love the Suzuki more than the Yamaha although my Suzuki was a 2-stroke and the Yamaha was a 4-stroke. It was very fun to ride the Suzuki, great sound especially with aftermarket performance exhaust.
I'm torn. Currently in the Gixxer fanboy camp, as I ride a K6 1000 and it's just a fantastic machine. recently tested an S1000RR, R1, and ZX10R...and all of them felt pretty amazing... SO MANY CHOICES!

Thinking about buying a new 2020 GSX-R1000. Only thing I don’t like is the ugly turn signals. The 600 and 750 both got integrated mirror turn signals. Why not the 1000? Cutting cost maybe??? 🤔🤔🤔

With a 0-60 reported to be 2.9 thats 0-120 mph in about 6 seconds. Wild. For people that aren't into this stuff 0-60 in a car in 6 seconds feels fast. Now double that

according to MCN who have one on long term test, if you put fit a slip on without flashing the ecu the bike loses a ton of torque. So it should run like a top once the ecu is sorted 👍
What is to major differences between the new gsxr 1000 and the gsxr 1000R? I went on suzuki's website and they still don't have a price on the gsxr 1000R yet?
He should get a flash asap! They make around 20hp more to the wheel after the flash and that's with a stock exhaust. This is confirmed by my local Suzuki dealer/performance shop who has them and has sold several and flashed them.
Its crazy when it rains in NYC i ride at about 70 or 65 Mph and cars are like 40 mph in the highway..lol dont recommended for beginners but facts! using Michelin High sport tires...

@650ib - Brock already found 180hp out of this bike, just with throttle blade adjustment alone, a full tune and exhaust is going 2b scary fast. It's looking like the GSX-R1000R could be close to the BMW's power
Does your R1M have clutchless up and down shifting yet? I had a 13 R1 with the CABS system and loved it. Sold my 2015 R1M and now may get the new gixxer or an R1 or another R1M.

Friend of mine got that GSX-R1000R, yea it’s sick! I’m on GSX-S10000 with the K5, last fall we Road. He beat me in every way on his roads “the Rattler”, I want to race him at the “tail of the Dragon” next 318 turns in 11.6 miles no side roads, he knows it like me so it will b the even. But the high speed race will be on Quick Mountain 100-150+. See all insanity on my TH-cam channel out quick Great video friend and thx for the read O and yea that is my flavorite R1 EVER!
I hate to break it to you but the tail of the dragon is 318 U-turns so you won't be racing anybody at that place. The roads up to that spot are better than that place.

The US r1 is restricted from the factory.
The r1 in the US is in a different state of tune, when compared to the rest of the world.
Has been like it since it was released in 2015.
