I have problem with EPC during the driving randomly turns on EPC light and put my car in safe mode, i read that the throttle could be a problem. When i turn off car and turn on again the car goes normally and no EPC light.
No, the problem I had was that the motor had failed inside the throttle body and the engine wouldn't idle when it was cold and it would stall. You had to rev the engine until it warmed up a bit before it would idle properly.
Before we start the engine, do we need to do calibration of the new TB, or we need to see jf the TB gives that sound after the igniton is on and than we do calibration?
My engine is AKQ 1.4 16V, and the ECU doesn't give an option of reprogramming, it's locked. I've bought other throttle body and now I can't do the calibration to see if this will work too.
so no cleaning of old throttle body(this would of corrected problem after calibration) no cleaning of top of valves while old throttle body was off so all the carbon build up will force the new throttle body to adjust to its limit and you will have the same problem again

I changed the throttle body because the idle control motor was dead on the old one.
