    Thanks for the great review. Drove the EQE sedan (with Airmatic) a while ago and it was amazing. What's your opinion between the EQE SUV and the EL7 and Q8-e-tron when it comes to comfort and build quality?

    • @ItsOnlyElectric

      I would go for EL6 instead. Cheaper good comfort descent size and price..

    No one speaks of the superior physical safety of Mercedes (Volvo too). The technological safety features are wonderful but the tank-like occupant protection is second to none.

    Another great review.. How does the drive experience (comfort, daily use, feel, etc) compare with your Tesla? Also what do you think of that interior? I am looking at the AMG EQE SUV (in USA) with that interior and am concerned about keeping it clean.

    • @ItsOnlyElectric
      @ItsOnlyElectric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Compared to model Y the EQE is more of a SUV. Bigger, higher, heavier. The model y feels like a sedan after jumping out from the EQE and a lot lighter.
      Interior of EQE looks nice and feels nice in most cases. Ths light theme might be hard to keep clean, especially the floor mats and floor fabrics.

    I looked at the EQE 350 4 Matic and the BMW iX 40, I went with the iX, it’s more spacious, especially in the back seat, my kids also voted for the iX back seat, there’s 3 of them they had more space. You noticed what I noticed lots of creaky trim around the dash and centre console, the iX trim is rock solid. I don’t like the hyper screen, the standard interior is better IMO. The ECO or Efficiency mode in the iX will still accelerates fairly well, you don’t need to push the accelerator through the floor. The 40 is more efficient, I can beat WLTP in summer on Norwegian roads, I can get close to the range of the EQE 500 you’re driving.
    Intelligent recuperation is great on motorways and highways. The iX in B mode has one pedal driving.
    This summer we’re driving from central Norway to Munich, I’m looking forward to seeing how this will go.
    If the XPeng G9 had been available I would have gone with it. I drove one in December, it’s an incredible car for the money, with software updates it can only get better.

    Hej 👋 Thanks for the review, as always. 170kW DC, for that big of a battery pack, it's a bit slow. Are the haptics buttons on the driving wheel better than the ones on the VW ID ? I'm also wondering if in intelligent recuperation mode, the car really uses the regenerative brake up to a full stop or if it uses the conventional brakes at the very end

    • @ItsOnlyElectric
      @ItsOnlyElectric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hej!! 🙂 Always relevant questions! Let's start with heptics: my opinion is that they are on par with the ones on the ID. Cars but kind of worse since there are so many.
      Intelligent recupuratiom seems to apply brakes at Lower speeds.
      Finally the charging, chsrging test on the way, but yes too slow especially considering the hefty price.
      What's up?

      @@ItsOnlyElectric Good so far, thanks for asking 🙂 hope same for you as well 🙌🏼
      I went on the Mercedes website out of curiosity after your review, turns out Mercedes is a bit too shy on the charging speeds. EQA and EQB SUVs, max DC is 100kW… what the ??! For this price tag ? Nope

    • @ItsOnlyElectric
      @ItsOnlyElectric  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @SeeliLeck3r good here too, looking forward to some warner weather. Gas been a pain here lately. 🥶
      Yes, they really need to step up the charging. Guess it's mostly due to the fact that the EQA is built on a combustion platform. Too many compromises.

      @@ItsOnlyElectric yeah, my C40 is also looking for spring and warmer temperatures 😅 this platform hates winter temp, which is paradoxical given the fact it’s made by a Swedish company 🫠

    I‘m test driving this exact car in the time you uploaded this video. I can agree with most of the things you mentioned. It‘s a very good car, however, I am rather disappointed by the interior quality and my pre-facelift Audi e-tron 55 is still more comfortable and quieter while driving. Looking at the price tag, though, it‘s €30k - 35k more expensive than Xpeng G9 or the NIO NL6. Even more expensive than a similar equipped Polestar 3. So, for €119k you get an Xpeng G9 or Nio EL6 and almost a Model 3 SR on top.

    In China, EQE (SUV) is selling cheaper than NIO ES6 , that’s only way they can sell some (a few ) . The product is simply outdate or over priced in Europe.

    Very good review again, thank you! I have my third BMW right now and had several Mercedes before. I tested and drove every electric SUV available the last year incl. Tesla, BMW, Audi and this EQE. My final choice this time was the NIO EL6. MB EQE is actually very close to EL6 in size. The EQE was 1,5 MSEK when I speced it similarly and it was absolutely impossible to motivate the huge price difference other than maybe pure brand image. I actually felt that the quality of several interior and exterior details in the Mercedes were inferior to the NIO quality. The EL6 is also faster, still very high comfort, has superior EV hardware, like sensors, Lidar and computer power. Most importantly, the battery is future safe due to the battery swapping concept. NIO is developing extremely efficient batteries coming out the next years so I will always have access to the latest battery technology. I am very interested in your honest opinion about NIO EL6 vs MB EQE.
