Can this work with Downloader app to get VOD? I’ve been trying to download that app for hours. It’s not working. Brand new fire stick. Very frustrating.
It may help if you clear the data and cache on Downloader, if its still not working then there could be an issue with the address you are trying to download from.
Hi Chris can you try to install magic sing karaoke on your firestick? I've been struggling to make this app work on my device. I already installed it but the thing is it keeps popping up that I need to enable permissions to make the app work, but I already allow all permission and still giving me the same popup forcing me to exit the app. Btw I installed it from downloader not on the amazon appstore
Unfortunately if you didn’t install from the Amazon App Store then it may not be designed to work with the firestick that could be why you are getting this message, if you can find out the developer you could try and contact them and ask if they are planning a firestick version of the app.
Hi! The Paramount+ app won't work on my firestick. It opens fine but then a message appears that reads "We are experiencing some technical difficulties..." I could never ever properly open the app and log in. I tried uninstalling, clearing data and cache (though there was nothing to clear since I could never log in). I don't know what to do. Currently I am watching Paramount+ using the silk browser and requesting desktop sites but I would much prefer to use the app. Works just fine on my cell and on an android TV. Problem seems to be on my firestick. Do you know how I could probably fix this? The Paramount help website suggested doing a factory reset on my stick but that seems extreme. Also, I would have to reconfigure everything again (ugh!) and there's no guarantee that the app would even work. Any suggestions? Many thanks.
Try restarting your Firestick go to settings and then My Fire TV then Restart, see if that helps, also if you have an older firestick like a Gen 1 or 2 then it may not be powerful enough.
@@cwtek1 Thanks for replying. No, is not an older model. I bought it in 2021. It's the lite version though. I will try restarting it. It seems to be a problem with the app because netflix, prime video, twitch, Spotify, etc work just fine. And I don't have any lagging.
If you've installed it but it's not showing then going to settings and then going to install apps and you should find it in the list there I'll be able to open it from there.
After using smart tube for a couple of yrs , today I got this message code 403 and cannot open anything on that app. I have tried all methods suggested in your vid. including reinstalling smart tube. so is there no fix for this issue.

Every time I go to open it it starts to load and then it comes up with “we are currently experiencing some technical difficulties. Please check again later.” With the CBS all access in the top right corner. It has been doing this for about a week now and I have run out of ideas

I can only assume the app might not be compatible with the firestick, you could try installing Mousetoggle and see if you can some how use that to select the password field to enter your password.

I have a question about tap tv app. It was buffering so I followed another TH-camrs advice, saying we have to force stop all background apps to stop the buffering. I did this and left the one I was using (tap tv) open . But when I went to try it , it just had a blank screen. I re started it, reinstalled it, but it still didn’t work. I can’t help but think i should of never Of followed his advice! In the end I just uninstalled it. I can’t find any videos on how to fix it. Do you think if i reinstall and try these steps it would work?
I am not sure about that app but its certainly worth a try, quite a few of the Free apps do buffer, simply because the server is overloaded. You could try reinstalling the app then clear the Cache and Data then uninstall it then re-start your Firestick then reinstall it.

For me, my live tv guide no longer shows Freevee. I tried adding it to the guide several times and nothing worked. Yes, I have Freevee downloaded, it just doesn't show up in the Firestick Live TV Guide. Every time I try to add it to the guide, the app just opens up.

No apps are working it just goes to a black screen and or goes back to home menu, I can't even go to applications because it does the same thing so I can't even delete the apps... Should I just do a factory reset?

I am not familiar try going into the player settings and see if you can switch to english, it may be that the video you are watching only has an Italian Audio track when the uploader uploaded the video to the service.
When I try to clear cache on certain apps, I get bounced out to the main menu....this is new, it always worked before. I've restarted everything, Firestick, modem, etc...still can't get to certain cache file items

This type of app does not have the investment of Amazon, TH-cam and Netflix, the problem is probably not at your end, this type of app requires a lot of patience trying to find working ones.

I do not have this app on my page itit sounds like you downloaded a version that is not for your device, if you’re in the UK and you’re using fire stick you can just go to find and search and download All 4 from there.

You need to see if you can contact the developer of the apps to report these problems, it does sound like it’s a problem with the app server rather than at your end.

If you have tried resetting your stick back to factory settings and it’s still not working then your firestick may not be compatible it may be too old, you might want to consider replacing the stick or contacting the app developer directly for help.
Anyone know how to use apps that say not available in your country yet. showtime for me says that I don't know how to change my country on the firestick either
Your Firestick will be set to the country that the Amazon account you used to sign up your Firestick up with holds, i.e. if the postal address of that Amazon account is in the UK you will get UK content if the address is the US you will get US Content.
Friend added 3rd party app on Amazon TV. Had to press on somewhere 7 times to get developer options up. App installed, watched, but disappeared the next time TV put on. And now there's no 'applications' will open on TV.. It simply goes back to BBC TV. TV seems to want restarting everytime they turn it off? Annoying. How can they get applications again in settings to remove that 3rd party app? Is that causing all the problems? Please, any help? Thank you

Do you have a VPN? if so then try turning it off. obviously try everything in the video too.

The same principles apply but a first gen is getting abit old now so I would recommend getting a newer stick!

When I use a unknown app imptv when I log in to it it says can’t connect to internet ! Yet I can log in to any other app any ideas thanks
It’s possible it might be a defunct app that cannot connect to a server.

The Nova tv app does work but the audio language is stuck in Italian and I can't switch it to english
I am not familiar try going into the player settings and see if you can switch to english, it may be that the video you are watching only has an Italian Audio track when the uploader uploaded the video to the service.

When I try to clear cache on certain apps, I get bounced out to the main menu....this is new, it always worked before. I've restarted everything, Firestick, modem, etc...still can't get to certain cache file items
I think there maybe a bug currently in the Firestick I have heard of some others having this problem too, you could try restarting the firestick.

That type of app can be very hit and miss due to the technology behind it getting its connections from a variety of sources.

Thank you, my child uninstalled my Sling app and when I try to open again it says...Download you own it... so I do then it says Queued and wont open.... Help?
If you have tried all the suggestions in the video then you will need to contact Amazon or Sling for Assistance.

This type of app does not have the investment of Amazon, TH-cam and Netflix, the problem is probably not at your end, this type of app requires a lot of patience trying to find working ones.

I do not have this app on my page itit sounds like you downloaded a version that is not for your device, if you’re in the UK and you’re using fire stick you can just go to find and search and download All 4 from there.

I have an issue where certain apps on my jump drive won't launch....some will. This is on an Insignia Fire tv running os7. I had this same issue on a 4k stick not long ago, wouldn't launch all apps loaded on usb. any thoughts anyone....thanks up front
Some apps just will not run from USB I am afraid.
I have 2 apps that will not play live Tv. 1- uk Turks. Plays movies but not the premium tv. The apps works on all parts of it. Music.Tv shows next. Not live Tv. The other app Ocean streamz. Great Live TV app. Won’t play It’s says video. Ot found or video failed. I’ve been trying everything for months. I can’t get it to work Help,, please I tried all your suggestions. Nothing worked

You need to see if you can contact the developer of the apps to report these problems, it does sound like it’s a problem with the app server rather than at your end.
That didn't help what I was looking for .. I have an app that allows channels and FOX news will not open at all? Would you have any idea how I would get this up and running
If you have tried resetting your stick back to factory settings and it’s still not working then your firestick may not be compatible it may be too old, you might want to consider replacing the stick or contacting the app developer directly for help.

Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app, if it’s still not working you need to try to contact the app developer.
Anyone know how to use apps that say not available in your country yet. showtime for me says that I don't know how to change my country on the firestick either
Your Firestick will be set to the country that the Amazon account you used to sign up your Firestick up with holds, i.e. if the postal address of that Amazon account is in the UK you will get UK content if the address is the US you will get US Content.

Friend added 3rd party app on Amazon TV. Had to press on somewhere 7 times to get developer options up. App installed, watched, but disappeared the next time TV put on. And now there's no 'applications' will open on TV.. It simply goes back to BBC TV. TV seems to want restarting everytime they turn it off? Annoying. How can they get applications again in settings to remove that 3rd party app? Is that causing all the problems? Please, any help? Thank you
You may need to see if you can reset the TV back to factory settings.

You cannot get the IMDB app in the UK on the firestick, it may come one day hopefully.
