I have searched all the forums and I do not see this answer. I have several firesticks and this only occurs on some sticks. I cannot select install once I download the file. It only allows me to select cancel. What am I missing? Thank you for helping!

I have Downloader installed but the little circle used to make selections just jumps from top of page to bottom and from left side of screen to the right side. It won't scroll so I can pick what I want. Any ideas?

I use Downloader as my internet browser on my FS. There is a website that I have went to tons of times. But now, all of a sudden ovr the last 4 days, I am getting "An unknown error has occurred. Check your URL and connection".. None of the other pages saved to my Favorites are doing it. And the same address, when typed into Chrome on my phone works. It's only this web address that it does it with. Do you know what could be wrong? Thanks.
My fire stick does have permission when i push the downloader it has everything else you showed but not permission so what can i do to give downloader allow
If you have tried all methods in the video including resetting your device back to factory settings then I think your device has corrupted and needs replacing.
@@cwtek1 Well I haven't done a factory reset as that would wipe out my Smarttube beta app that semi works but I might try with a newer firestick to see if it works.
I have a fire tv, and I enabled developer mode and all but whenever I click on downloaded to download the actual app, it says “app not found, the app you are looking for could not be found.” And I’ve already turned my tv off and on again.
@@willgrimes7666 I fixed it by turning off the tv and unplugging it completely and leaving it unplugged for 2+ minutes and re plugging it. Hope that fixes yours as well

I can no longer download anything, I've uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. When I go into the files tab it states "could not access directory"

I did everything but once i press to install the app it tells me staging app and afterwards nothing is installed

Normally you go down to cancel then use the right hand side of the ring on the firestick remote to select install!
Mine doesnt intall apps idk why, once finishd downloading it says staging app then poof nothing
Now asking for storage permion required but on setting saying no permission needed!!!!

What about the error Forbidden try using https if using http??

This can happen if you have changed your animation speed on your firestick using an adb command or TDUK's speed up tool.
I have installed the downloader by aftnews but it don't want to open what s the problem
When pressing on Install unknown apps. There is no apps for me to press on!
You will have an on off under allow apps from unknown sources instead, please just turn this on and it will allow all apps to be used.

When i open a Url in downloader app , it is playing audio but not playing video
I am not sure that Downloader is the best browser to play audio and video, try Silk or TV Bro they are more suited to this.
Downloader is loading url's very slow. Its stuck.
please make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection to your firestick also turn off any VPNs on the stick you may have.

Hello mate, when I pop in a URL and press go the app just crashes When I click on browser the app crashes immediately.

If you do not have that, then you should see Install Apps from Unknown Sources just turn that on!
My firestick continued telling me to cantact my provider
Did you contact them, if so what did they say?
