Anyone know how many games created that need this stick for playing? I will have to look into the games, finally can play the way it's meant to be played.
I keep looking atgames Mini and I keep finding the stick with 4 buttons on top and bottom you have 3 top and bottom. 4 would be a problem for the Conversion Sticker, what am I missing here?
Great Idea PDUB, I was thinking about doing this with my ATGAMES Gamer PRO controller bout now I will just look to order a prefab controller box off EBAY and build it like you did..I ordered my IKARI STTICK on the first day ordering went live. I can't wait for NOvember to get here so I can finally play on off my all time favorite arcade games from my youth properly again. I cannot tell you how many quarters I pumped into IKARI WARRIORS back in 85 at my local Mall's Arcade...IKARI WARRIORS and JACKYL stole my quarters on a regular basis.

Very cool DIY set up, I was thinking the same thing using a atgames mini as a dedicated Ikari arcade stick once it ships out. Looks good and only thing that looks somewhat difficult is cutting out the hole on the panel to fit the usb cord but nothing too crazy.
This looks like a good product. However I have a couple of original SNK rotary joysticks, and both the Ikari warriors and Heavy barrel arcade games. But I might buy this anyway, since it would be convenient for emulation and so on.
Warning: disassembling requires long neck thin screwdriver. Access to screws are under rubber feet which must be ripped off because it is glued on. Regular at games mini had 8 buttons, not 6. So blanks will be required for any extra buttons.

I put together my first one and started up the 40th on steam and in Ikari warriors I have the rotation (purple blinking light) and mapped fire and grenade but when I start the game it is on auto fire and wastes all my ammo, I know it has to be a simple fix, and grenades works I push it and it throws one and Idea ?
I preordered mine along time ago but I haven't had the chance to unbox it or do anything with it. So you said there was already a firmware update. Where do I search to find it? Also. Is it possible to do any of this without a computer? Thank you
Need to plug it into a computer to do the firmware update. The firmware link is on the product listing on Glens Website, link In video description just scroll towards the bottom of thr product web page.

Great video. Considering buying this. Do you know once you put this together, can it plug directly via USB into the Pandora 10th and be used to control ikari warriors? I have a p10 multicade cab but wouldn't mind occasionally plugging in a controller like this to scratch that Ikari warriors itch. Thanks in advance!
Does it work well with Heavy Barrel? That was one of my favorite games growing up and I’ve always wanted to play it as intended at home. I’ll have to get one of those if it works well.

Hey @PDubsArcadeLoft, do think it would be possible to use an AtGames Legends Mini, and just swap out the joystick for the #IKARI joystick of glens? That was I could continue to use it as an AtGames controller, but also with CoinOpsX Sauce builds that have Ikari 1, 2 and 3! Thanks Jay J
Okay so I learned the answer to the above is NO. The pin outs on Glens joystick have 6 pins, whereas the AtGames cable for it's joystick have 5 and are a slightly different shape. Same goes for the various buttons. So I am doing what PDubs did and gutting the AtGames Mini in order to use the case/control panel for the GRS thunderstick. Just thought I'd share that for anyone following this.

They sell a button hole filler piece so you will fill in the 2 extra buttons you won't use and apply the artwork over top

I just used a Dremel and it took less than 3 minutes to widen the hole :) 😀

Well technically you could just put the stick in your atgames arcade and it works with coinopsx and addonx

It works with MAME, there are step by step instructions on how to set it up in MAME included in that holy Bible instruction book

legendsd gamer mini has 8 buttons how does yours only have 6?
You can use 2 caps supplied by Buy Stuff to fill in the 2 button holes you don't need it's on their product listing,
