Hats off to the person driving the Disco for attempting crooked river track without a snorkel. Well done, especially the first 2 river crossings which can get a bit deep. Good to see it being used in the scrub and not in Toorak or Brighton.
The fella I purchased the disco from was actually from Brighton haha. He had 22inch rims with road tires on it….doesn’t know what he was missing out on! Goes great off-road :)
@@maxphillips2330 What are the chances of that...lol. I was in Brighton today for work. Plenty of capable offroad vehicles used as a runaround car out there.
Great video that I enjoyed watching. I was recently retired and I had never done any 4WDing in my life so when a, (much younger) friend asked me if I wanted to go down to the high country I jumped at the chance. It was fantastic and we too, did Billy goats and a heap of other trails. Believe it or not, but we were sitting by the camp fire one evening and I mentioned that one place I had heard about and wanted to visit was the Innamincka pub. I didn't know where it was or how far we were away from it, but next day when we packed up my mate said we were going to do a lot of driving in the next couple of days. He headed for South Australia and the Strzelecki track and I eventually got my dream realised. Cameron corner came next followed by Tibooburra and many other places before getting back to Sydney. It sure was a trip that gave me lifetime memories. But without my mates kindness I would never have experienced what real 4WDing is all about. Your video brought back all the memories and feelings again. Thank you.
What an amazing experience you have had! It’s very special to be out in nature, it’s so peaceful and everyday brings something new. We’ve also been up at the corner country NSW and we loved Sturt National Park, Lake Mungo and Mutawintji National Park, the desert areas are just stunning. I really want to go back now, after the rains when the lakes are full, the landscape will have changed completely and be full of life. We did a couple of videos of our trips to NW NSW, you can find them on the channel. We have Innamincka on our to do list, amongst many other places (Flinders Ranges, crossing the Simpson desert etc), we just need more time off work so we can get out there again. Thank you for watching and I’m glad we could bring out your fond memories 😊
Thank you for watching 😊. It was the first time we did the Billy Goat Bluff track. We were lucky it was nice and dry and our friends who’ve done it before said it was the roughest and hardest they’ve seen it, the sharp rocks claimed some of the rubber from our tyres! We had a couple of moments to collect ourselves during the drive 😅. The views are amazing and so worth the hard drive up, we’ll be back again for sure.
Thank you 😊 The Victorian High Country is really beautiful and full of fun tracks to drive. We just skimmed the surface and we have to go back again for more.
Beautiful part of the world
Yes, it is very special. We'll go back for sure.

Yes, it was an awesome trip!
Great company and trails and beautiful scenery 😊. Working on part 2, so much footage to go through 😅
Nice to see a discovery being used for what it’s meant to do, only ever see them doing the school run here in the uk
It’s the same here in Australia. The disco is very capable and did a great job 😀
You did well to convey the steepness of the Billy Goats Bluff track, thx really enjoyed the video.
Thank you for watching 😊.

What tyres are on the cruiser
Thank you for watching. We run her on 33 inch Maxxis Razr Mud Terrain tyres.
Are you from South Africa ?
No, we're originally Swedish but have lived in Australia for the past 20 years.
@@trailcat8380 ahhh :)
@@jadedFk I get asked if I'm South African quite often. My Scandinavian accent must be on it's way to be wiped out by the Aussie accent ;)
