- This is the second and last part of our March 2021 NSW Outback trip. This is where the real adventure begins as the area was hit by huge storms with lots of water in short space of time. We just made it out, after this all roads closed in and out of Tibooburra for more than a week. Tibooburra for example got 100mm of rain in a few hours.
Our vehicle is a 2020 Land Cruiser 76.

Great clip guys. Hope you get out there and do more outback touring - it definitely gets in your blood.
One point to correct you on if can, four hours of cleaning won’t get the red dust out of your car! Even if you never go off-road again, you will still find it in, out and under the car for as long as you own it. A nice reminder of your trip each time you wash the truck

Have been on those roads many, many times. Great driving. Great scenery. You did well. Driving in the mud is tricky. Generally stay on the track if it is covered in water, keep the momentum up. The track is usually hard formed. Off the track may not be.

Just a water saving tip. Wet the side of the vehicle, sponge or wipe it with a cloth (Don't rub so the dirt scratches the paint) wash it off with the hose or gernie. Done in 1 hour.

When did you travel in these condition December January when?
A bit too much water for my liking
This was in March 2021. Got more rain than usual, it’s hard to predict how much rain there’ll be. It’s NW NSW so generally don’t get much rain at all, this was a very wet March and we just made it home before many places had flooding.
