Great show, the p5 models always seem imposing and luxurious. Fantastic walk around hope you both enjoyed yourselves, I would have loved to visit the show but not enough holidays and work commitments etc 😞

Hi you 2, thanks for showing us all the Rovers, those red ones looked really smsrt. When you first made yoir way to the stands I was saying " Look at the bus, look at the bus, but you swerved it...😂
Looks like it was a great show...🙂
Thanks again, I'll have to try and get there next year. You obviously cured the prop shaft problem on Jessie, very well done, not the best of jobs to do on your back...
    Take care,
    Jon B. 🙂

    Hello Alex
    Great video.
As well as having two 75's as company cars, way back in the day I owned two P6"s, my first wife loved them. I had a 2000 TC in blue which turned out to be a bag of poo and a wonderful, absolutely wonderful 3500 S, Auto, V8 red, black vinyl roof and black cloth interior. I kept snapping the bolts that held the Dijon axel in place and had to have them replaced three times and that is true. They did develop a hell of a torque. I still think they are a classy machine.

My dad loved his Rovers. I used to sit on the back seat arm rest as a kid and look out of the front window on our travels. He had a Rover 90 and a P6.

    Lovely Rovers!
Hope to visit one of these car shows when I’m in the UK again.
For now I’m going to visit a motor car manufacturer in Crewe, coming week 🙂.
    But that’s for work.. 🙄
    Cheers,
    Wilfred

Great coverage and so much River goodness.
Nice to see your P4 still earning it's keep.
I didn't realise how much the model changed throughout its production run.
Those P6 still look cutting edge, especially compared with the cars that Rover had produced previously.
Sadly when I was there on Sunday I missed all of these cars.
The P5's are still my favourites. A friend drove the P5b and subsequent V8 Rovers throughout his over 30 years in the Police, he mentioned his P5b patrol car had the three speed automatic.
Who doesn't love an SD1 vitesse though, still looks purposeful today.
I wonder if that SD3 Vitesse is the same one that I saw at FOTU. My grandad had a number of 200's starting with the SD3 before moving on to the R8 versions so I have fond memories of them.
That 75 convertible looks like a nice conversion. It would be nice to see it alongside that coupe model that was created.

My dad had a white 1965 P6 (CYD 225C) just like the one on the stand except for his had the red interior. I got in a lot of trouble as a small boy as I chewed the padding on the back of the drivers seat and he had to get the seat re-upholstered as the car was only a year old when I did the deed! He had a total of 6 all white P6's until he had a couple of SD1's after them.
