Morillas is the perfumer who created Dylan Blue and Acqua di Gio also which is an interesting feather in the cap of this Ferragamo release. He also did the Colonia flanker as well. As always - fantastic review and it made me chuckle as well. Rotten eggs! Lol. 😅 I feel called out as a collector
In my opinion, I never wore Dylan blue but smelled it plenty of times, Dylan is a more playful club scent beast mode projection! Essenziale blue can be a everyday clean versatile! I just purchased essenziale blue an hour ago 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have to agree on the presentation - its top notch! The scent however is mediocore, actually THE most boring out of every blue scent (and I really love my aquatics) I smelled in the last years... the lavender reminds me of F Black, combined with the shower gel vibe of Dylan Blue. For me its one of those scents that just sit on the shelf somewhere all in the back.
To me it’s to dense and it’s more sweeter and creamier and powdery so in like high heat like 90 degrees and up I wouldn’t wear it. It’ll be cloying. To me it’s more for fall winter and early spring.

I've tested in a mall. I liked it and picked it up instantly along with sf Uomo. Now I'm eyeing Bvlgari aqua atlantique
