How can u use more than one combact tecnique during fight without changing them?

And when i used seeds it vaniahed the mobs arround me, how come when you did it it makes them vanish everywhere?
I believe its because they spawn gradually. If you pop a seed too soon, it will only get rid of those that spawned but will spare the ones that haven’t appeared yet.
