Excitedly screaming about something is one thing (my girlfriend does it,) but to sustain that scream for longer than 5 consecutive seconds is something else entirely.

I was about to post the same thing. I can deal with a fan squeal. I've give a fan squeal. You get a few seconds to make your case vocally. After that, yeesh.
Bring back Peter Pan, one of the most popular Disney characters, and bring back the Evil Queen and then the show would be perfect! That being said the show looks Amazing, Thank you Disneyland for not completely destroying one of the best shows on the planet.
I feel like the old grand finale was way better than this one. They cut so much of the fireworks out of the show, which is sad. A lot of the scenes I felt were kinda rushed (bad pacing). The Pirates scene was cool but I didn't really see the projection mapping like they said, I don't know if it was just the camera perspective or quality. Music was epic and in my opinion in the new scenes were too "modern day electronicy". The Dragon scene was different with a awkward beginning but a freaking amazing finish. Some of the lighting use (the side stages) were unnecessary and distracting, but when they were put to good use, they were bombing! The opening was my favorite new part, so much hype! The old show in my opinion is better than this one. 7/10 Thank you for posting
Tech is my jam, and that new fountain choreography is matched well with the music/scenes, the improved mine and comet firework designs are killer and so well spread for the venue, and that lighting and projection design is A+. Well, except for the over use of random color in certain scenes. (works well for the finale amazingly well!) The on-ship lighting for Pirates was nice too. All that new dynamic design in the lighting is just so effective for this show, it's ridiculous. I love the improvement of the soundtrack upon that iconic and amazing original music. Just not overly fond of the more pop inspired vocals of certain segments (mainly the scene between Sorcerer's Apprentice and the new Lion King/jungle scene. Just too, ad-libbed is the word, maybe?). I also really liked the addition of the Genie, and later Aladdin and Rapunzel. And the additional VO of Mickey is cute! It can be slightly jarring, since I'm used to the original. It's just overall, so nice to see a classic have the time and effort put into improving it. Thanks fort posting this vid! Hoping people start posting the nice HD recordings soon.
I'm not gonna lie, I miss the original with all my heart but this isn't that bad. I was prepping for the worse and I got okay. I'm just glad they kept in the main sequences and improved upon them; with the exception of Pinocchio of course. (Even though they did elude to it. Which was pretty cool) I think the thing I did mind was the over use of the circular projection and the overload of color. I wonder who directed it this time around ;D

This was great until there was no Snow Queen what the actual hell. Put back Snow Queen and this is a solid 10/10. Without her its like 7/10. Dude mickey WRECKS Maleficent now though holy god.
I will say this I do like the original version better than the new version. Its not because I don't like the new one I just have a sentimental feeling towards the old version and kind of like its 90's feel.

Original Fantasmic was a 10 out of 10, this new version 8 out of 10 at best. The new princess medley was so off key! I'm so sad that they got rid of Pinocchio, Snow White, and Peter pan. I felt the addition of Pirates really slowed the tempo of the show. So random to see Rapunzel replace Snow White, that was sad, and the Green Flash at the end will be missed. Mickey's laugh track was weird but I did enjoy his new updated story involvement. I give the new updates a 4 out of 10. I hope they bring back OG Fantasmic soon.
It's the very first premiere of 2.0 Fantasmic with die hard Fatasmic fans attending it. So ofcourse there's gonna be screaming. If guys don't like it, find another video that blocks out the audience's sound.
Its weakest links are the new soundtrack feeling really choppy at times and Pirates of the Caribbean not being a worthy replacement of Peter Pan, but the rest was all pretty fine or good. 7.5/10
