Even in MK1 where he overachieved, he still let one slip through his fingers. But all that stuff is the past. It feels really good to see him winning! if you gonna play footsies with punk you have to be playing out of your mind. every time i watch punk stream or see him play it feels like he is on cracck , the confirm/whiff punish are too unreal its crazy. everyone spamming parry and every one sort of start playing expecting people to go for alot of parry but punk didnt get a single perfect parry on these two sets . punk is so satisfying to watch when compared to everyone else playing the parry fighter 6
There are some games where Punk is extra turned on like agianst Chris Wong, whos insane in neutral himself, and just started putting on a clinic on the ground
I think this is finally Punk's year to win big major tournaments. He has Bison /cammy/Akuma. He needs to main bison as his Biggest weakness is shodos. With the shodo brigade neutralized at this point only a rashid ,an Aki or a Jamie player can beat punk. Gachikun ,Big bird and Broski are the only real threats for punk. (JAMIE can be excluded since no top level player uses him)Cammy beats grapplers and bison beats blankas. Punk has almost every archetype countered at this point. People who be claiming punk chokes, not realizing that he NEVER had shodos covered before bison are in for a hard shock.
@@universalman5861 I think of bison damage like Marisa it can and will happen but not every round. I also think the way blanka plays his normals are good. But bison’s defense is atrocious when you knock him down just like the other low tier characters with no reversals.
