That was therapeutic ! I felt tired and bored before I watched it, but happy and relaxed afterwards - it did for me, what you did to your shock ;-) Brilliant video.. I'm subscribed !
@@madmarc Yes it's a 14 day cure time. Search mxrevival he's got one video dedicated to the stuff where he sprays a caliper. He also commented that it was very tough to remove even in the blast cabinet after it cured.
just got my 2004 ktm 125 back from years of letting it sit. I want to rebuild it and restore it since its virtually just a brand new 2004. I am just not technically inclined but feel like it would be a good project to learn but I am so afraid of ruining something. Apart of me wants to just pay to have it taken apart and rebuilt but then I feel like that would be expensive. idk in a weird spot with it but I have enjoyed watching you do your thing. Makes me wanna try for myself but cant decide if I could actually pull it off lol
Buy a Haynes or Clymer manual for the bike and you can’t go wrong. Or just watch videos but I find the manuals more helpful probably because I’m old skool
I have a good amount of gas spilling out of vent line when I turn fuel on. Read that its the Float valve and that its springs have worn out so its getting stuck. But its all clean and works smoothly. Any idea what it might be? Thanks!
The float needle isn't seated properly. Tap the carb with the handle of a screwdriver. Or just ride the bike around for a bit on some rough terrain and it will seat
You use some tricks my dad taught me ! Very nice result , I also like everything immaculate on a build before it goes back together 👍🏻
Thank you buddy!

Wow I didn't know they made that. Thanks for letting me know, I'm gonna try it on some other parts.

@@theirishbear_osrshaha been there rebuilt a 450 in my flat years ago. Just remember as above don’t rush and check everything twice. ✊🏻
Congratulation 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love it!
❤ I love this.
Hey dude, what's oil viscosity did you use on this ? And whats the pressure in the air chamber ? I need to fix my rear shock on my 1997 rm 😃
🔥
👍
Bro please tell me my where you got the replacement locking nut for the shaft !
This is where A.I. will go 404..
просто красотища !!
Excellent. ...vraiment 😉
Where did get that paint you sprayed on the shock body? Thx
All those steel parts that you linished like the spring lock nuts and clevis parts will start to rust drastically. They need to be zinc plated..
I plan to actually, and re-anodize the aluminum parts. But I have a lot more parts to disassemble before I visit the electroplating place.
👍👍👍
Знакома эта процндура еще с CZ-516), с юности
Can you use a shock pump that you’d use on mountain bike suspension or does it have to be a nitrogen pump? Thanks
MTB shock pump works fine for me
@@madmarc Thanks 🙏
MEGA!
Приехали все друзья. Сегодня у нас Пасха). Я не верующий, но, тем не менее)

@@madmarc like tap the bottom of the carb the float bowl area?
@@tateschaffer3058 yea just hit the bowl a few times from the side. It should seat. If not just ride it and that should take care of it
@@madmarc thanks man!
Hi marc, how pressure you use ? Thanks
I think it's 165psi

a........mazing
Niiice!. Again tho, think about this ok; the Allen bolt near the compression damping valve... Read what i wrote on your KX-250 video :) .
Thanks man, I saw your other comment, I think I saw this technique before, Ill give that a try with the next shock.
What colour was used for the shock body?
Just a regular bronze I think.
Charging them with N?
Nah, air works perfectly fine.
Эта процедура мне знакома не по наслышке!)
5:44 I can't stand
Yea that bugged me too.
